सह्याद्री..
सह्याद्री म्हटले की डोळ्यासमोर येतात त्याचे काळे कभिन्न कडे..
आकाशापासून पाताळापर्यंत उंचच उंच भासणाऱ्या कातळभिंती!

अगदी वाऱ्यानंही दोन क्षण विचार करावा की आपल्याला यावरून जाणे शक्यच नाही. असे काहीसे रौद्रभीषण पण तरीही सुंदर!

भयानक सौंदर्य लाभलेला असा हा सह्याद्री आणि मुकुटमणी शोभतील असे त्यावरचे किल्ले; बेलाग आणि अभेद्य!

आणि त्या किल्ल्यांवरच काय तर इथल्या कणाकणावर राज्य केलेल

ा जाणता राजा शिवबा... त्यांचा गनिमी कावाही इथलाच.... इथलाच...

शत्रूला धडकी भरवणारा, नामोहरम करणारा शंभूराजा... त्याचे शौर्यही इथलंच....

पराक्रमाची परिसीमा दाखवणारा साल्हेरचा संग्राम... समस्त मराठीमाणसाचा आनंदसोहळा पाहिलेला रायगड....
अफझुल्ल्याच्या लक्ष सैन्यालाही सहज गिळंकृत करणारी जावळी सारखी जंगलं!

महाबळेश्वरपासून ते भीमाशंकरापर्यंत, कळसुबाईपासून ते वणीच्या सप्तशृंगिपर्यंतसर्वच देवतांना वास्तव्य करावेसे वाटले असं हे सह्यसाम्राज्य!

काय-काय बोलावे.... कसे सांगावे याचे कौतुक....

याच सह्याद्रीच्या चरणात लोळण घेणार्‍या सिंधुसागरातून वर येऊन आकाशाला भिडणार्या उंचच उंच सह्यकड्यात वसणारी महाराष्ट्राची ही संस्कृती म्हणजे..

सह्यसंस्कृती...

आणि याच संस्कृतीने याच सह्याद्रीने वेड लावलेले आम्ही सह्यवेडे...

सह्यवेडे... म्हणजे नक्की कोण...

या सह्याद्रीचं वेड असलेले, सह्याद्रीवर मनापासून प्रेम करणारे ते सह्यवेडे...

हेच वेड घेऊन, या सह्याद्रीची ओळख जास्तीत जास्त लोकांना करून द्यावी, या सह्याद्रीकडून नित्य नवीन काहीतरी शिकत राहावे, या इराद्याने आम्ही सुरूवात केली, "सह्यवेडे ट्रेकर्स"ची...

सह्याद्रीच्या कानाकोपर्यातल्या वाटा समस्त जगात पसराव्यात म्हणून केलेला हा एक छोटासा प्रयत्न.. -

Our Story

Sahyadri.. the word itself makes you flash huge mountain range front of eyes. Where we feel the heights of mountains are trying to touch the sky. This Sahyadri range got forts, and all of them are proof of great history. Forts where Chhatrapati Shivaji ruled for years. Sahyadri and its forts have all marks of war and celebration of victory. The forest of Sahyadri's is spread to limit which misguided Afzal’s army. It has God's grace too, situated from Mahabaleshwar to Bhimashankar and Kalubai to Vani’s sapatarshringi.

There is a lot to say about Sahyadri. It has its own culture, taking a journey from mountain to mountain and fort to fort. We Sahyavede following this culture, loving mountains and providing information about it through the trekking and adventure activities. Every time we Sahyavede learn new things and try to inform about it to people crazy like us.

For the purpose of knowledge spreading and attending adventure we have started this organization called 'Sahyavede’
