THE ORIGINAL STATUE OF LIBERTY

The Statue of Liberty was designed by French Sculptor Frederic Auguste Bartholdi (1834-1904) and was a gift to the United States from the people of France and was dedicated on 28 October 1886.

I took this photo of Bartholdi’s original Statue of Liberty in the magnificent Luxembourg Gardens in Paris’s 6th arrondissement on a lovely spring day.

We have a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment from the 1800’s to rent on rue des Chartreux, which is situated in a prestigious neighbourhood and a one minute walk from the Luxembourg Gardens

We are taking bookings now for 2015 and the summer months are especially popular. We also still have availability for Christmas/ New Year this year. Provence still has so much to offer over the Christmas period with many Christmas festivals throughout the region.
