🌿Veteran's Outing with Wild Arizona in Sycamore Canyon! 🌿

📅 Date: Saturday, July 20 · 8am - 2:30pm
📍 Location: Tuzigoot River Access Point, 240 Pecks Lake Road North, Clarkdale, AZ 86324

Join a group of veterans and Wild Arizona to clear and rejuvenate the bank along the Upper Verde River! This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to conservation efforts and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Highlights:
🔹 Restoration Project: Help rejuvenate the beach area.
🔹 Refresh with a Swim: Cool off in the river after our work.
🔹 Educational Session: Learn about the campaign to protect Sycamore Canyon and the Upper Verde River with a Wild and Scenic designation.

No experience necessary – ALL ARE WELCOME!

1. Food for the day (snacks, lunch)

Gillett, Arizona Territory, was about halfway between Prescott and Phoenix and was a key crossroads for travelers between the two cities. In early 1880, Doc and Kate went to Gillett together, but left separately. Kate went to Globe and Doc returned to Prescott. Photo taken by D.F. Mitchell.
