he industry, continuously. We scout daily and tirelessly across the UK to find distinctive performers that we feel casting directors, directors and producers would like to meet. Once discovered, we represent our talent exclusively for work across all mediums in the UK, Europe and the USA. We are committed to championing diversity in the industry. Nicola Joy - Director / Head of Talent

Nicola worked successfully as an actress from the age of eight through to National Youth Theatre and then into her early twenties (under a slightly different name!). During this time she built working relationships with many directors, casting directors, producers, photographers and writers. Prior to launching Hero, Nicola spent 4 years representing high-profile directors from the world of film and worked for an eclectic mix of production companies and creative agencies. Chrissie Soames - Agent

Chrissie is the Hero veteran; she brings a wealth of experience to the team. Chrissie worked as a photographer in the late seventies and eighties. In the nineties she assisted the busy children's division at Galloways Agency. Chrissie went on to have a successful career as a children's drama teacher, working with a diverse mix of London's children, teens and young adults. Nicholas Tasker - Creative Director / Account Management

Nick has been working in advertising for the last 10 years and has gained a stellar reputation as one of London's top creatives. Along the way he's managed to win awards at all the major shows, including Creative Circle, Campaign Big and D&AD. Nick has worked in both the UK and LA with TBWA London, Chiat Day LA, GREY London and Adam & Eve DDB (he was their first creative, ever).

We were thrilled to have this land on our desks this morning; Hero has yet again been named as one of the top talent agencies for young talent in the UK. We have ranked 3rd (and 2nd in London) only behind the legend of Slyvia Young, who opened her doors in 1972.

As we approach our TENTH birthday next year, this is another fantastic write up (link in stories) and we are so grateful for everyone who has supported the agency in it’s development and reach.

You may know that we also represent adults and have no upper age limit, we just like to sign between 8 and 21 as it’s where our personal lived experience is at it’s most valuable. As our talent grow with us in both age and outstanding credits, we are becoming more and more competitive with the big corporate agencies; but hope to retain the small numbers and family feel that works better for some actors 🏡

We are getting very excited about Changing Ends 2 coming out this weekend! Our wonderful Keira Chansa returns as Maz. Episodes 1 and 2 will premiere as a double bill on ITV1 at 9pm this Saturday 13th July and the rest of the episodes will play weekly at the same time. All episodes will be available to stream on on Saturday 13th July from 7am.

We are thrilled to announce one of our youngest clients, Wilbur Conabeare, will make his professional stage debut in THE BOUNDS ✨ Wilbur is an accomplished screen actor with regular roles under his belt, and he’s excited to be treading the boards for the first time on the London stage!

The Bounds is a darkly comedic tale of national divides, folk horror and the end of the world as we know it. Catch the play from June 13-July 13.

Some mid-autumn highlights @ Hero 🍂

1. Eden Ottman returns to our screens tonight at 6pm for the third series of LAGGING, in which she plays series regular, Becca.

2. Amba Gayfer completed her first series regular TV role as “Leonora” in CRIME 2 by Irvine Welsh (Trainspotting) .

3. Scarlett Rayner completed her run in the transfer of BEAUTIFUL THING and was straight back on set for a NDA project.

4. Lucas Jones won The Founder’s award for his directorial debut “Winner Fights The Moon” in which he also stars as the lead.

5. Beth Angus has won an iconic role in a television movie remake of a period drama favourite, shooting out in Bulgaria and Ireland. 📷.

6. Grace Doherty, who is now eighteen and on our main roster, has been shooting on another period drama, this time for the . 📷

7. Jake Siame, from our junior roster, has been out in his native Ireland shooting a feature adaptation of a best-selling novel. He also has a project dropping soon. 📷

THE RECKONING starts tonight at 9pm. Hero were privileged to work extensively on this challenging, but important drama, that focuses on the victims stories. We placed Daisie Boyes as Sam’s Daughter; Sam is one of four real-life survivors featured in the series.

We have some fantastic new signings for the Autumn casting season 🍂

1. BUDDY SKELTON joins our main roster. Buddy is best know for playing the series regular role of “Keir” in FOUNDATION ; he is currently on air as Moses (series reg) in THE BEAKER GIRLS . Buddy has an extensive Film and TV CV and is also known for his work in and British indie films like, RISE OF THE FOOTSOLDIER. Buddy is currently filming on a project alongside his two brothers, Sonnyboy and Badger. Buddy is a proud member of the travelling community and speaks fluent Romany.

2. TOM RAY WILLIAMS graduated from 3 year acting course this Summer and has joined our main roster. Tom hails from the Essex and was commended at this year’s Carleton Hobbs Awards. He also took the lead role of “Lambert” in his graduation show, CELEBRATION. Since joining us, he has already shot a short film with LA based, Ghetto Films, and is casting for a variety of stage and screen projects.

3. SKYLAR BLU COPELAND joins our junior roster. Skylar is an actor and dancer from London who has a major Hollywood movie coming out in 2024. In the UK, she is best known for playing the recurring role of “Ruby” in YOU & ME for . She is also an accomplished stage performer and recently completed a run . Since joining Hero, Skylar has blown us away with her wonderful self tapes and has already booked work for .

4. LACEY LEIGH PAYNE also joins our incredibly strong junior roster. Lacey has been on our radar since she was a very young junior, she is an incredibly unique performer and is already gaining major attention at Hero. Lacey recently wrapped a major NDA project for . She is best known for playing the recurring role of “Grace Dodds”’in . Since joining us, she has already beaten 1000s to take the lead in the new x campaign, produced by .filmworks 🚀 and she is booked to work at the this month.
