I was recently fortunate to spend a luxurious week at the best resort I ever been to - Vidanta Rivera Maya, Mexico. https://www.vidanta.com/en/web/riviera-maya
It’s one of the top 5 hotels in Eastern Mexico by Condé Nast readers - I wholeheartedly agree!

It’s over 1000 acres with 5 resort hotels, 15 world-class bars, a Jack-Nicklaus designed golf course (and hosting the PGA this week!), magnificent beaches, a resident Cirque de Soleil, a water park Jungala, so many pristine pools and tremendous customer service. The resort is so large you are transported around on golf carts.

I was lucky enough to get a room in Grande Luxxe section - with its own pool, private beach and concierges. It was the best quarters I’ve ever experienced - full kitchen, dining area, living room with two sofa beds, and th3 most spacious master suite with a jetted soaking tub, separate shower, king bed and private balcony.

Vidanta Riviera is so large but feels so intimate with its jungle ambiance - secluded day beds, privacy curtain day beds by the pool, and balconies that face the “jungle”.

I don’t think there’s any resort I would go back to repeatedly - except this one. I can’t recommend it enough! They host weddings, group travel and more!

It’s wave season for cruise lines - the time of year where there are great deals on cruises (usually through end of March).

There is so much to do on cruises - or not to do - that’s what I love about cruises.

It’s time for my traditional solo cruise on the Norwegian Getaway ! They have done a great job adding studios for solo cruisers!

I also love the thermal suites - an area with steam, saunas, a very large water therapy area and relaxing loungers/ heated beds. Like going to a spa - at a great price !

The best part is I used capital one miles to pay for the whole thing and rented my home on Airbnb while I was gone!
