I get asked often why people should use a travel agent when they can just book it themselves online.

Well... Spring Break has people traveling all over the world and, just like with everything else, stuff happens. This weekend travel agents everywhere have:
1. made adjustments to suppliers so that clients whose flights were delayed hours and were arriving in the wee hours of the morning would be safe and taken care.
2. found clients a new resort while they were in flight to their destination after their original resort suffered a devastating fire.
3. Assisted clients after all their belongings including passports, money and personal belongings were lost in a resort fire.
4. Rescheduled vacations while clients dealt with unexpected challenges at home.
5. Assisted clients enroute to destinations who forgot their documentation at home so they could still enjoy their vacation.
6. Made sure magic happened for families taking one last trip together.
7. Made sure magic happened for the newly-wed couple traveling for their first time ever out of state.
8. Made sure every part of their client's trip was perfect and took care of it if it wasn't.

You can't get that from Google, Expedia or Priceline. Travel agents make sure your vacation is just that, a vacation.
