st for waves began on the Coast of British Columbia, Canada. And after searching for the idylec place to surf, from Canada to Chile overland and water, Ecuador has proved to be the most amiable place to find waves. The combination of warm water, potential for big winter groundswell from either hemisphere, relaxed locals (when there does happen to be anybody else in the water, combined with the relaxed tropical atmosphere outside of the water made Ecuador the place that the Supertripera has decided to concentrate its efforts. So, when you land in Ecuador and hop on the Supertripera you'r embarking on a mission to find the best surf, and doing it in comfort and class… we have a team of born and raised Ecuadorian Surfers who provide us with real time, eye witness surf reports… we don't only rely on website speculations and forecasts. Besideds going to the best waves, you take control of how you get there; this isn't the bus… if you wanna pull over for a beer, get lunch, take a photo of something uniquely Ecuadorian, too strange and peculiar to relate in words, decide that you want; you want to make it an overnight and camp in front of the break…. By whatever luck shaped the disolvmant of Pangea, Ecuador found itself sitting in a prime location on the planet to receive year round swells. It gets hit with the long range groundswell from southern hemisphere winter storms for half the year, and groundswell from northern hemisphere winter storms the other half the year. and in the transitional periods between the two hemispheres winters, Ecuador picks up trimers and other non-concentrated low pressure system generated swells, giving the coastline year round waves. That is, you don't have to worry about getting skunked on a surf trip here. That being said, the best months to come still at the dead of winter in north or south America. We like to share examples here of what the itinerary of a day trip and an overnight looks like. I don't like to say this is what it will exactly be, as the conditions are different everyday. Our trips are run out of Montanita generally, however, If you want to start your trip somewhere else contact us and we'll see what we can do. We pride our selves in our flexibility; as flexibility is crucial when exploring in foreign lands. We will recommend locations, based on our eye witness reports, in collaboration with what type of waves you wanna surf. But, of coarse, you are free to make the call if you have a place in mind. As far as the specifics on our trips, we maintain that finding the best waves is what a surf trip is about. And for that reason, that our trips are customized to allow for the swell to dictate where we go, we have discarded the old surf trip model. that is, all the other surf trips that we have scene have 'home bases' and day by day itinerary. The Supertripera's home base is a bungalow on the beach where the swell happens to be hitting best, And we don't believe people take a break from work to go on vacation only to be confined by an itinerary. The itinerary is yours to make everyday when you wake up; you want to surf, or go fish instead, or snorkel, or do all three before the sunsets. Or did the swell end up hitting even harder that you thought, and you just want to surf all day? Or do you wanna check a new spot altogether? That is the Supertripera philosophy. "Whats Included"


Beyond providing you with expert knowledge and comfortable transportation, we have a few things that make life nicer:
*spring water
*non potable water to rinse with
*access to our fishing gear
*board repair
*board rental
*meals
*Overnight: Lodging & breakfast. As for lunch and dinner, our philosophy is to let you pay for exactly what you want. you can eat well for 3.50 a meal in this country. Instead of "including" the meals and charging you a bunch more for the trip, we reckon you would prefer to eat what you want, when you want, and pay only for what you eat! "PRICES:"

*The price list is subject to change depending on what you want to do as all the trips are customized.

*Day trips run at $50 dollars a head and minimum of 3 people or $150.
*Overnight trips run at $100 dollars a day, and a minimum of 3 people in order to be eligible for all that is included in the overnight trips (lodging, breakfast). However, if you are less than 3 people, we can make it happen. just shoot us an email and we'll figure out a way to make it work.

*About our prices: We are offering surf trips at bellow half the price of our closest competitor. If you take five minuets to check out the other people offering surf trips in Ecuador you will see they require a week minimum, starting at a 990 dollars, up to 1,700 dollars per person. Our philosophy is simple. You are not leaving the US to pay US prices. We also value flexibility; this is your vacation, you should'nt be tied to have to do a week minimum… you want to surf a few days and not a week? It's your vacation, no minimums.
