About Girls that Wander

Girls that Wander is a travel community that encourages female creators to explore deeper and improve their craft as an online creator within the world of travel.

I, Elisha Brock (@leeshbrock on Instagram) founded this community in 2015 with an aim to inspire women with a passion for both travel and creating whilst on the move. I have a deep passion for storytelling, documenting and sharing my travel experiences as I believe this helps to squash ignorance and widen perspectives - I know many others feel this way too!

We have created a group specifically for content creators within the travel space who want to take their Instagram to the next level. In this group we offer: Instagram advice, best practise tips, free guides and most importantly - the secrets on how to grow and reach your goals on Instagram authentically.

Leesh has grown the @girlsthatwander Instagram community to 100k through reposting empowering images from female travellers on a daily basis. Alongside this, Girls that Wander was the pioneer for “Instagram Takeovers” in the female travel space. This is where travelling females showcase a current trip, experience or travel tips via our Instagram Stories.

Storytelling is a huge part of what we do at Girls that Wander. Sharing worldly experiences from females from all walks of life, with the aim to break down boundaries, is our primary goal.

Whether your someone who wants to learn how to improve their craft as a creator, find out how to earn whilst exploring the world or be informed about upcoming destinations/cool spots - we have you covered!

All we want is for this platform to be a collaborative space where females feel supported and encouraged to take more trips.
