Atlas World Traveller, a sister to the World Navigator, is the second of the smaller sized adventure ships designed for Atlas Ocean Voyages. Launched in November 2022, the yacht-style ship allows travelers to explore ancient lands and unique terrains. Small expedition vessel with a maximum passenger count of 196. the ship takes a classic yacht-like style, from wood-paneled walls to nautical stripes. ⬆️Above & Beyond tour ⬆️

It was pleasure to be the host for our wonderful couples from Oceania Vista cruise.

They decided to take our famous Above&Beyond tour and check spectacular views and learn about Dubrovnik history.

If this is your first time in Dubrovnik then this tour is for you.

You will learn about our city and surroundings, its history and contemporary life. You will visit the famous Dubrovnik Old Town on a tour with a licensed guide but also have some spectacular photo opportunities from the hill above the town (better than CABLE CAR) and Dubrovnik Bridge.

It is 3 hours tour that gives you a real taste of a destination, with the intention of making you want to come back and spend more time in this beautiful city and our country. This is a private tour and we use an MPV car or AC mini-van.

During your walking tour, your guide will show you all the major old town buildings: Onofrio’s Fountain, Pile Gate, Franciscan Monastery, Stradun main street, Sponza Palace, rector’s Palace, Cathedral, Saint Blaise Church, Old Town Port, Farmers’ Market, and hear all the little stories about these places which will make them come to life.

⚓️VIKING SEA⚓️

This “small” beauty arrived today in Dubrovnik. It is the second ship to grace the name Viking Sea, the first being Viking Sky which was originally assigned this name.
It has capacity of 930 guests with his length of 745 feet.

We had lovely guest from the cruise on our private Bestseller tour where they had an opportunity to see all the highlights of Dubrovnik, followed by private walking tour and visiting small town Cavtat outside of Dubrovnik.

Perfect day for exploring Dubrovnik and soaking up the sun ☀️!

Yesterday we took our guests to Orašac, small suburban area 15 minutes outside of Dubrovnik. Dubelj family runs the mill, holds presentations on its functioning. There used to be seventeen similar mills in the prime time of olive oil production in Orašac. However, with time only their survived.Besides the mill, their family estate includes our family house and our garden. The garden feeds them and their guests, and grow wide number of local species, from spices to vegetables and fruit.
And of course not to forget the lovely white beauty Perla 😍

The guests enjoyed and so did we! ☺️

🚢Oceania Vista🚢

Oceania Cruises is a cruise line based in Miami, Florida, that operates seven cruise ships on worldwide itineraries.It typically offers cruises that last between 10 and 14 days, but it is also known for its long cruises lasting up to 195 days.

The guests from Oceania Vista have chosen us to be their host in Dubrovnik while choosing our Panorama & Old town private tour.
•We picked them up in front of the ship, where we drove them to Franjo Tuđman bridge for photo stop of Dubrovnik cruise terminal, Lapad peninsula, Gruz bay and Elafiti islands.
•After that we drove them to see Ombla river spring-one of the shortest rivers in the world.
•Next was drive down to the Old Town of Dubrovnik followed by private guided walking tour.
•After everything was done the guests had 45 minutes free time in Old Town for themselves, and ride back to the cruise terminal.

It was an honor to have them as our guests, we had an amazing time and hoping to see them again in Dubrovnik ☺️

📌DISCOVER DUBROVNIK- THE OLD PHARMACY📌
Situated in the Franciscan Monastery the Old Pharmacy is the third oldest pharmacy in the world, and is argued the oldest pharmacy still working today. It was established in 1317 in order to work for the monastery; however over time the pharmacy was then opened to all the citizens of the Republic. For 700 years the pharmacy has been serving the citizens of Dubrovnik and even today you can find cures for your ailments inside.With many stone bowls, medical books and historic lab equipment now displayed in the monastery museum the pharmacy still holds some reminders of times gone by. A real treasure trove of 15th century artefacts can be found inside the pharmacy. The monastery museum is located in the cloisters of the Franciscan Monastery and is well worth a visit.

📍Park Orsula
Epic view of Dubrovnik without the crowds.
It’s a beautiful spot overlooking the Old Town and Lokrum Island. Despite the absence of a cable car, the trek uphill is absolutely worthwhile for the breathtaking views awaiting you at the top.

Heavy rain all morning has scared away some of the regular vendors of our green market (Placa), on Gundulic Square in Old Town! However, work etics is strong with these two vendors remaining!!!
