“Spending two weeks in some of the most remote parts of Namibia to see desert adapted lions, elephants, rhinos, and giraffes was an absolute dream come true. The particular trip that I went on also had a heavy focus on wildlife conservation (… I mean, hello, it’s called a conservation safari, lol). We had the wonderful opportunity to meet with locals who are on the frontlines working to protect and conserve the wildlife in these remote areas. Croatia has a famously spectacular coastline but among its other compelling landscapes is forested Krka National Park, with its 17 stepped waterfalls and sequence of canyons along the Krka River. Amid the bubbling streams, there’s plentiful birdlife including ospreys, peregrine falcons, and golden eagles. On our Croatia journey, we stop in for a wonderful walk on our way to Trogir, a World Heritage Site with a dramatic Old Town surrounded by the sea.
