Voice of Engineers This is to raise voice for Pakistani Engineers. We intend to form a Society of Young Engineers which can keep focus on their interests and support them.

For any general query email us: [email protected] Why do we feel the need of a standard salary package for entry level engineers?? There is not much of a rocket Science in Pakistani Industry. Not more than 6 months, are enough to learn the things that are going on in most of the so called "ENGINEERING" work that is done in pakistan. The so called term "EXPERIENCE" is not time bonded, the previous g

eneration of engineers were not equiped with computer skills, internet , nor were they even introduced with National Geographic and discovery in their childhoods, so the old and nostalgic minds of out-dated Executives and HRs of Public sector and private sector industries in pakistan is wasting the precious time and energy of the new generation engineers.
16 years of tough study and hardwork when tries to shine in the old fashion minded industry, they get no support from the oldies and have to do a lot to get their talent recognized. what about starting their own family? dont they deserve a decent entry level salary?. How much wealth and energy is spent by the engineering graduate and his/her parents in their lifetime to live the dream of becoming an engineer, and what they get? joblessness? or a job that pays less or a job the experience of which does not count at all in future. There is no linkage between industry and academia. Final year projects from industry and paid internships are not available for students of Engineering. Government should oblidge all stakeholders in the industry to work for the linkage Academia and Industry, for that atleast public sector industries should offer funds and support for final year projects, infact industries should offer final year projects to engineers. If we will not treat our skilled youth with justice , they will definetly try to leave country, thus we will be facing brain drain. There is no representation of Pakistani engineers who raise voice for above problems. Even people who do labor have their representation in any organization in form of unions, but what about engineers? I personaly feel the need that an organization should be there to raise the voice for prospect engineers and the recent graduates so that precious careers of engineers do not get waste, also they get guidance and support just like doctors got by their protests. I have made a page for engineers to come and decide how can we unite and show our demands to government. The name of the Page is "Voice of Engineers Pakistan"
