Here’s me and my 11-year-old son in Egypt last summer with Single Parents Who Travel—and wow, what an experience! From standing in awe of the Great Pyramids, sailing the Nile River, and wandering through the ancient temples of Luxor, Egypt was a dream come true for us. The more than 10-hour long flights are worth it!

Every trip with my son reminds me why I started this journey—to show him the world and help other single parents do the same. 💛 Make sure to join us in South Africa this July if you can!

My son and I had an unforgettable adventure in Egypt this past July with other single-parent families. One of the highlights? Parents, how do you carve out “me time” during your trips? Do you pamper yourself with a spa day, massage, yoga, or meditation? If so, what’s the best, most luxurious experience you’ve had while traveling?

One of the best parts of my recent trip to Bali was soaking in a flower bath that was pure relaxation. The warm water, fragrant flowers, and calming vibes instantly melted away all my stress. I can’t wait to do it again—who’s down to join me in Bail in 2026? 🙋‍♀️

My son and I can’t wait to see you in South Africa on July 12-20 2025, to spend 9 days exploring Cape Town, Mpumalanga, and Johannesburg for SPWT’s 7th annual 2025 summer family vacation!

I want to remind you today of your incredible strength and resilience. As a mompreneur, I’ve learned that the road to success is not always easy, but it’s always worth it. Juggling responsibilities, nurturing a family, and pursuing your dreams is no small feat, but trust me—you can do it.

Believe it or not, Single parenthood propelled me to found businesses that empower others. this is definitely the case for Single Parents Who Travel, a community that specializes in supporting single parents to discover the world with their kids and with other families in the community. With close to 15,000 members around the globe, we’ve successfully traveled as a group for 6 years and have visited incredible beaches and cities in the Caribbean, North America, and Africa! Now, we are super excited about our upcoming trip to South Africa in 2025!
