My son and I had an unforgettable adventure in Egypt this past July with other single-parent families. One of the highlights? Parents, how do you carve out “me time” during your trips? Do you pamper yourself with a spa day, massage, yoga, or meditation? If so, what’s the best, most luxurious experience you’ve had while traveling?

One of the best parts of my recent trip to Bali was soaking in a flower bath that was pure relaxation. The warm water, fragrant flowers, and calming vibes instantly melted away all my stress. I can’t wait to do it again—who’s down to join me in Bail in 2026? 🙋‍♀️

With close to 15,000 members around the globe, we’ve successfully traveled as a group for 6 years and have visited incredible beaches and cities in the Caribbean, North America, and Africa! As a mother of a growing boy and a working mom, I can’t explain just how much I look forward to going on trips with my son. 💖

Traveling alone with my son deepened our bond in ways I never imagined. I made sure that he was involved in every planning and every activity we would do throughout every trip.

I listened to him.
I let him do research and discover exciting things about the places we will visit.
And it’s so rewarding to see his face sparkle every time almost all our plans happen. 🌟

In the beautiful chaos of raising our children, I’ve realized one thing that we, parents, often forget one crucial thing—OURSELVES.

Taking a break isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity.
It’s okay to pause, to breathe, and to remind yourself that you also deserve to feel loved. Imagine the joy of a spa day, where your only task is to relax and let the world melt away. Picture yourself exploring a new destination, feeling rejuvenated by new experiences and perspectives. Or maybe it’s simply buying that dress you’ve been eyeing, and feeling amazing in it, just because you deserve to feel good.

When I take the time to recharge, I return to my family with more energy, more love, and a greater sense of fulfillment. I’m not just doing this for myself; I’m doing it for them too. A happy, rested, and fulfilled mom is the best gift I can give my children.

I’m embracing self-love because I am worth every bit of it and so are you. Cheers! 🥂
