Hi, Chelsea here! I’m a Purposeful Nomad Alumni and I wanted to share a moment with you.
I remember this day vividly, as surreal as it was. In the Dominican Republic, we set out to paddle board upstream on La Boca, a small and quiet stream that seemed otherworldly.
And alongside us was Titi: Cabarete local, self-proclaimed paddle boarding expert, groundskeeper at @beachcomber.retreat, and the only alarm clock we could wake up smiling to.
Every morning, his voice could be heard clearly across the hotel grounds, effortlessly paired with the sounds of the jungle and ocean.
And on this day, on the tranquil waters of La Boca, he serenaded us with the loveliest song that I’ll never forget. I hope this video captures even a small slice of the pure magic we experienced that day.
This 20-second snippet represents just one of the many unforgettable moments of our trip to the Dominican Republic. This trip alone, and the women on it, inspired me to live a life that centers around exploration, experience, and open-mindedness. The impact of this trip on my life could never be measured.
I hope that you can join Purposeful Nomad on one of their farewell trips in 2023 and experience an adventure of a lifetime.

For more than 100 years, the Indian census has shown a marked gap between the number of boys and girls. This gap, which has nationwide implications, is a direct result of the burden that women are believed to have on a household.
Sambhali Trust has set out to challenge this belief and support the otherwise neglected women of Rajasthan.
During our Jewels of Rajasthan departure to India... we will partner with this organization to help empower and support the 1,000 women in the organization.
On International Women's Day, we'll stand hand-in-hand with the women of Sambhali Trust to march for their rights. We would love for you to join us and learn from the incredible, transformative work they're doing every day. 💕

And still, the rate of women in India's workforce continues to decrease every year. However, we see hope on the horizon. 💕
Sambhali Trust empowers Rajasthan women to reclaim their worth and find financial independence through education, trainings, and support. We are SO proud of the courageous work that they do to support women.
In March, we'll be standing hand-in-hand with the women of Sambhali Trust to march for their rights on International Women's Day. We would love for you to join us. ✊
