Congrats to 10 year old Matthew who got last year got a trashcan slam with me and now went for a real one with a slotty red, fat trout, and black drum all released to fight again. Nice going bud! Back out in the AM for a repeat.

Tonight was one of the sickest tailing tides I've ever seen. Literally never went more than 90 seconds without a fish within casting distance from start till dark.

I dont know about you, but apparently when I'm fishing with alligators all around me and the dogs on the boat and then a baby tarpon free jumps into the cockpit...I tend to react in panic.

Odd story from the Everglades of the day: Came through a tight area in the mangroves and a group of about 30 yellow jackets dropped into the boat off a snagged branch right in front of Drake. I told him not to move and the wasps oddly got up one at a time and committed su***de into the water. Go figure.

Saw the first Tarpon today. I was filming some dolphin feeding on tight school of mullet and this girl comes busting through the middle.
