We don’t belong to the ‘Quit Your Job, Follow Your Dreams, See the World’ genre; we don’t believe in just letting go of everything we built up over the years, and this goes true for work relationships, friends, and other connections that keep us rooted. It was Tim’s lifelong dream to set sail and explore, while my dream always involved travel and making a difference. Together, we change this perce

ption of a ‘trip’ into a ‘lifestyle’. We challenge ourselves to live a life where we will feel more connected to the natural environment, because we feel a responsibility towards it. We are excited to see how we handle living in close quarters over long periods of time, catching up on unread books, unpractised hobbies, learning new skills, and honing old ones. Just got back from a short kayak adventure to the Isles of Scilly. Hitch hiked there and back on yachts and then paddle / camped my way around the islands 👌

So this just came up in Estonia! For those that don’t know our family have been in maritime for 190 years, starting out as a humble ships chandlery in 1833. This would have been supplied to a ship around 1850. It’s a navigational sextant for determining your position using the sun and stars. These were still in use until the 1990s prior to GPS and ships are still required to carry them in case GPS goes down.

Back in Scilly just for a couple of days. I forgot how spectacular it was. This place kinda feels like home in a way. With luck I’ll be back with the whole team soon!

Feeling good to be back aboard after nearly 2 years out of the water. This time with the additional crew member causing chaos! Every button needs to be pressed, every draw opened and every thing climbed! 🤯

This simple mod has saved up to 30% power consumption of our fridge. Even more with guests aboard who seem to take joy in standing around ponging the meaning of life with the fridge door open
