scount options (no housekeeping, no breakfast, etc...) CEO and founder Peter Devlin explains "My background is in media and music and I spent many years living in hotels. I worked late nights so the first thing I did when checking in to a hotel was hang a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door. I rarely made it to the breakfast buffet on time and thought, I should be getting a discount for not using these services, or at least be able to book the things I really need like an early checkin or late check out. We identified a gap in the OTA (Online Travel Agency) market because these options still aren't available online today". Co-founder John Taylor spoke about their novel approach to research - "There's a really enjoyable gamification aspect to our booking system and we're getting a lot of positive feedback. We're finding out what people's priorities are when it comes to their ideal weekend break - it's either party or peaceful!".
