Here we have the equivalent to hair extensions of 500 years ago. The Florentine women used to wear wigs made of fine straw in long yellow braids! Blonde was in then as it always has been ! The beautiful fresco was painted in 1482 by Cosimo Rosselli who also worked in the Sistine Chapel at the Vatican in Rome.
