🚨Walt Disney World Hurricane Milton update🚨

All 4 theme parks & Disney Springs will begin closing in phases at 1:00pm October 9 and will likely remain closed through October 10.

We are closely monitoring the path of the projected storm, and the safety of our Guests and Cast Members remains our top priority. Walt Disney World Resort is currently operating under normal conditions and will continue to be on Tuesday, Oct. 8. Looking ahead, we are making adjustments based on the latest weather forecast and some areas with unique environments.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, the Copper Creek Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will temporarily close beginning at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Praying for all in the path of this hurricane! My two cents… modify your date. Let those Floridians who can evacuate there more inland get those rooms. It may be an inconvenience, but could be life saving for them. If you don’t have to be in the parks or can go at a later date, I’d stay out of the area. Pray for the cast members and all the linemen and essential personnel.

Here is a free app called WDW Food and Wine that you can get! 🍷This app will look at ALL the festivals Epcot has (currently Festival of the Holidays) and you can plan your budget and food ahead of time! 📍Click the map for location of each booth and you can click on the one you want and it will bring up all the selections there. Also you can just scroll through to see what you may want to try and the cost! 😍See something you like? Click wish for and it will add it together with other things you want to try! 🧆After you’ve looked through and added all your wish for items, then go to the top left and click to open a menu up. 💰Hit event summary and budget and see what everything costs. ❤️What an easy way to make sure you get all the food and drinks you want to try.
