Nora Gardner designed and manufactured a bespoke uniform collection for leading air carrier

We are honored to announce this exciting partnership between leading air carrier JSX and Nora Gardner.

From initial concept to final production, the Nora Gardner team worked closely with JSX flight staff and executive team to understand the requirements of their wardrobe, and visited their Dallas HQ to see first-hand the plane’s interiors and the unique, luxury, boarding experience.

The design process included fashion sketch iterations, thorough wear testing, feedback evaluation and garment adjustments, program planning and forecasting, logistics management, and final in-house manufacturing to achieve an on brand image and designer fit and quality with the highest level of functionality for the flight attendant team.

The inspiration for the women’s collection were many design elements from the Nora Gardner brand, so beloved by her successful and demanding female clientele across the world. Throughout the designs, pops of JSX red can be seen, including inside the flared cuffs of the women’s dresses and across the front of the men’s vests. Diagonal style lines are played out throughout the collection, symbolizing the direction of a rising aircraft. The custom design on the men’s silk tie and women’s scarf reflects a modern cityscape in the branded JSX colors, suggesting the view from a JSX plane.

The collection was designed and manufactured in New York City by Nora Gardner, a certified Women Owned Business (WBE).

We designed branded men’s and women’s uniforms for the Dream Hotel in NYC.

The interior of the suit is accented with the Dreams signature lilac color; the color blocked grey coordinates with the modern color palette of the hotel. Embroidered vesta for all are the perfect transitional item fro the bell team. Functional pockets and wrinkle-free stretch fabrics make this uniform comfforbtale and functional.

Meet Jennifer Munoz: The Talent Behind Our Patterns

At Nora Gardner, some style we create is brought to life with the expertise of Jennifer Munoz.

Jennifer studied fashion design at Autonoma del Caribe University in Colombia before emigrating to the United States in 2011. Following her dream of working in the fashion industry in New York, she began with an internship and strove for success.

During her first years in New York City, Jennifer attended the Fashion Institute of Technology and began working as a pattern maker. Now, she uses her patterning skills and development experience to work with an array of high-end designers to perfect new styles.

We are proud to have Jennifer as part of our Nora Gardner family, helping us empower women.
