Hello Dear Watercolor Lovers., Here we are again at the end of yet another year, thinking back to all that has been accomplished in 2023. It has been a year of growth and opportunities, as we have had the privilege of welcoming many new Branches and Institutions into our family. We have also witnessed many Branches and Institutions creating exceptional art events in the name of IWS Globe Art Network. We have seen greater camaraderie and cooperation as Branches and Institutions have united together to organize exhibitions and festivals, crossing borders and working to create successful events. We truly are one big family and our endeavor to spread peace and harmony is seen in no greater way than when we join hands together to work side by side in creating beautiful art opportunities for the world at large and spread the love of watercolor.
2023 has also been a year of challenge for many, as we still have ongoing wars and countries that are facing dire needs. Our heart goes out to you all as we continue to work to promote a peace that is at odds to the hatred and strife that sometimes seems overwhelming. You are not forgotten and your pain is not unseen. You are both in our thoughts and in our prayers as we continue to strive to spread love and harmony.
It is our hope that 2024 will be a year of peace and promise - a year of health and prosperity for all. We look forward to the celebration of the 12th anniversary of IWS and World Watercolor Day on January 23rd. Even now, our leaders are working hard to organize events to celebrate this special day. Videos and posters are being collected and plans are being made. We hope that you will join us with your own special event commemorating World Watercolor Day.
Cheers to health, happiness, and prosperity in 2024. Wishing you and yours the very best both in the New Year and always.
