Awesome news guys! Right now there are some really good personal and small business credit cards that are offering huge value sign up bonuses. If you have been thinking about getting a credit to leverage your expenses to accumulate points for travel then now is the time!

Today we went to the local Mercado municipal and met Shinto who owns a small souvenir shop in the heart of San Jose. In the small time we had with him we were able to talk story, laugh and connect with each other. His family are natives of the local tribes of los cabos who live on a ranch an hour away from his shop where everything he sells is handmade. Meeting him has been the highlight of our day. During our conversation he kindly offered homemade pancake sweets that his wife had made. Sometimes traveling isn’t always about luxury, but allows you to meet people that help remind you of what life’s all about.

Hello everybody! For those who don’t know us, we are Conway and Ema. Happily married coming up on two and a half years. My wife is a student and I work for a local tourism business here in Hawaii. We love to travel but like many, we have found it too expensive to achieve with all of our expenses for our small little family😜.
Anyways we stumbled across a loophole that has allowed us to get out and about.
In a nutshell 🥜, We leverage different expenses to hit credit card signup bonuses. From doing this over the past two years two things have essentially happened
1. We have been able to build our credit
2. We have been able to accumulate a crap load of points.
With the points that we have accumulated we have been able to book a ton of round trip tickets for two. In this year alone we have been to the following places: Ohio, Virginia, Kauai, Big Island, Los Angeles and Salt Lake City, Utah. The cost we paid for two round trip tickets to all of these places combined, totals to a whopping $88.80.
We have also been able to squeeze out 18 free nights in different hotels throughout each of these places.
We definitely love every opportunity that we have to travel to new places and experience new things but I’m not going to lie one of the most satisfying things for me is that we have been able to do all of this for almost nothing.

Happy to be back after a long week of fun filled events. We just booked a two week vacation to Salt Lake City, LA and Mexico. We will be in Salt Lake for 2 days, LA for 5 days and Mexico for 6 days. All up we ONLY SPENT $422 for both our flights and our hotel stays for the whole two weeks. We used 50,000 chase points to book most of our flights and a total of 145,000 hotel points (25K Marriott points and 120K Hilton points) to book our hotel stays for 13 nights. We accumulated all of these points from simply leveraging different expenses to get different credit card sign up bonuses! Our next set of credit cards that we want to leverage for its sign up bonuses are the Chase Southwest cards (1 personal and 1 business). The reason why these cards are valuable is because Southwest offers 1 free companionship pass once you have accumulated 110K points with Southwest credit cards. That means EVERY time you book a ticket (whether paid with money or points) you will get 1 free ticket for a companion. Two tickets for the price of one! This benefit, if done right, can also be available for a two year period. How crazy valuable it that!? The required 110K points to qualify you for this perk is also attainable with the signup bonuses from 1 of Southwest's personal cards and 1 of their business cards. Southwest will also be opening their services in Hawaii at the end of this year! Aint no out there more valuable then this one! Leverage your expenses to travel more for less!!

Most of our free traveling has been done through points that we have accumulated through different chase credit cards. We love Chase as their reward points are transferable to a ton of different airline and hotel partners. However it is good to know that chase has a 5/24 rule. This means that if you already have 5 personal credit cards in a 24 month period then you will most likely not be approved for one of their cards. Because of this I would recommend that you first apply for chase credit cards to take advantage of their amazing signup bonuses before applying for any other card. Bottom line is that Chase is DOPE so don't miss out on using there cards to leverage your expenses! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Tip! Never use cash! When you can, use a credit card and then use your cash to pay off your credit card balance. You would be surprised on what your reward points could get you. Chase has the following 9 Airlines as participating partners in which you could use your Chase Ultimate Reward points for to redeem a ticket. Aer Lingus (2nd Largest Airline in Ireland), Iberia Airlines (based out of Madrid), Southwest, British Airways, Korean Airlines, United Airlines, Flying Blue (Air France), Singapore Airlines and Virgin Atlantic. No matter where you want to go in the world, chase points can definitely get you there!! Make sure you get the best bang for your points!! This was the 4th take! My mum sat there and let my brother bomb water all over here 4 times! Things you do when you are on vacation. Over Christmas my whole family got to be together for the first time in 2 years. We met up in Sydney, Australia and had a blast. Round trip tickets from Honolulu to Sydney run about 40k SPG points with Lufthansa airlines! Don’t let expensive airfares keep you from traveling!

The conventional way of accumulating miles is to use a credit card for every purchase under the sun with the hopes that by buying all of your groceries and gas will some how get you enough points to go somewhere. Almost every award program states that you will earn one point/mile per dollar you spend. Indeed this is a good way to leverage ever day expenses to accumulate points that eventually get you cool rewards. However what most people don't know is that each airline has their own reward chard of how many reward points are needed for a specific flight. For example, Hawaiian airlines requires 40,000 points for 1 free round trip ticket from Hawaii to the mainland. That means you need to spend $40,000 DOLLARS before you can get your first free ticket!!!!That's just absolutely NUTZ to me! I don't even make $40,000 let alone am I able to spend $40,000. THE WAY AROUND this madness is to find signup bonuses that offer a ton a miles in exchange for a required spending amount. For example the chase business ink card offers 80,000 points if you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months!!! I definitely can't spend $40,000, but $5,000!?? $5,000 I can do!! Conventional way= $80,000 for 80,000 points. Travel loop hole way = $5,000 for 80,000 points! Who's with me!?
