Wedding Destinations.
I made a short video of the resort where I stayed. I apologize; I should have videoed the spa where the bridal quarter would be. I will be posting images of this resort so you can see the spa in those.

I truly enjoyed this unique, older resort. Despite its smaller size, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was a delight. It's the perfect place to unwind and not worry about cooking, as most things are taken care of for you. 😉
The pools were clean and inviting. The landscape was so pretty and peaceful. Then, the ocean waters were breathtaking for me.
I will mention they had some seaweed wash up, but they cleaned it early that morning.

Welcome to Margarataville Island Reserve Cancun, by Karisma.

This has been a long day already. I was up at three this morning to get ready to fly out to Cancun today, but you can’t help but perk up once you arrive.

I just received my room and I thought I would give you a tour of it. There will be many other rooms that I will be photographing throughout the week.

I will say that it is very pretty, I almost wish I would’ve had booked one extra day so I could’ve just actually taken a day and been a true vacationer and enjoyed it, but then again I never just relax I am always with some form or f a camera walking around. 😉

Something about weddings can not help but make you smile. Two people who love each other are ready to commit the rest of their lives to one another.
Then what happens?
Anxiety? Worry? So much planning and so many decisions to make where do you start?
Weddings can be expensive for parents of daughters. How do I know? Our daughter was married just a few years ago and I could not believe how much the cost of weddings have went up.

Did you know a destination wedding is cheaper than so many?
I recently had a couple book with me, they are eloping so no family will be present. (They do plan on have live feed during the ceremony). I believe the cost of their wedding was $1,250. They are staying 8 days so they are having their honeymoon there also but it was still at $8,000. That was for their wedding and honeymoon.

You do not have to elope, you could have a whole group of family come with you. Sandals Resorts is one of finest resorts to hold a wedding, but they are not the only resorts. There are so many places and not just on an island. There are places in the States that can do the same.

I also have worked in the wedding industry as a photographer and photographed many weddings over 20 years so I have that experience to help you with. One travel tip I really appreciate is I fly mostly through Southwest. I do not carry a balance but use my card and I have paid for very few air flights in the last few years.

If you do not book through a travel agent when going on a cruise line please take this advice.

Book your tours through the cruise ship. This protects you.

Now booking with a travel agent like myself, we have reputable tours that are also options. I would also mention you would contact me right away and I would have went straight to work getting you taken care of.

One last thing but VERY IMPORTANT is if they had travel insurance like I am able to offer (as well as many travel agents)your agent would have reached the insurance company and they would have been doing the work for you. (They may have had one, I just did not see it in the article)

Travel Insurance is so important but be careful because not all are the same. They may “offer” but it is very limited.

Some may think they would be protected if they got sick at a port but not all travel insurance cover it. It is honestly a very small fee to keep your well being protected.

Happy April 1st!

I figured since I am trying to get you all to go on vacation, maybe I should share a small video of where I have been and why I enjoyed it so much. (I would move there if I could). I then wanted to share the same place with you to enjoy if you are interested.

Did you know I can book a home away from home for you? Just like VRBO?

For years I thought booking through Expedia or VRBO myself was smart.

Now I realize a travel agent/advisor can do the same.

Those large companies make commission off your booking it is just hidden in the fees. If I knew I could have helped a small business (a travel agent) and they would have received the commission instead I would have gladly done that.

So in knowing this now I wanted to share with you that I would do all I can to make your vacation as great as possible.

If you book through me then you have my assistance if anything comes up. Such as the dishwasher leaks, or the air conditioner quits working. You just contact me and I will get to work on it to try to get it resolved. This takes the stress off of you.

I also may have special discounts that you don’t see on the big company websites.

It never hurts to ask because there is no charge to ask me for your help.
