"Vurnik House" near the city center of Ljubljana is considered the best example of Slovenia's national architectural style. It was designed by architect Ivan Vurnik in 1921. Vurnik's underrated artistic wife, Helene, designed the decorative exterior. The tricolor combination she chose (red, white & blue) represents the Slovenian flag 🇸🇮. The patterns are highly stylized iconography of Slovenian landscapes (woods, plants, cornfields) and women in national clothing. There's one flaw on the exterior pattern though, and if you take a very careful look you might just find it.

Unexpected airport interruptions are typically not welcomed, but this was an exception. The airline ✈️ reps stopped our team to request we pose with them for a promotional photo ✨. We took advantage of the moment and snapped a memory for ourselves.
