With over 6 years of experience in designing and producing printed badges, I'm always able to help you out. Several re-enactment groups in the Netherlands, the UK and the USA are wearing my badges. I’m in the middle of a big project: an exhibition of a part of my WW II collection upcoming September. Building takes a lot of time. Making all my display cases myself.

So I’m not forgetting you. Just a bit occupied with MDF, screws, glue and tools 🧰 🪚

• A question for you guys •

I am thinking about reproducing the well known signs of St. Come du Mont and St Mere Eglise.

I see them copied in white.. but wouldn’t these signs have been yellow? These are the signs placed by the Germans, so according to their specs. So yellow, right?

And you can see the ‘V’ sign being a different colour than the St Come du Mont sign.

So what is your opinion? Yellow?

As I want to guarantee a quality product to be delivered, I need time for production.

On this day, July 14th 2022 Bill Millin would have celebrated his 100th birthday.

To honour his memory I played a tune called ‘The Rowan Tree’

This is the tune he played when he, and the rest of the Commando’s, arrived at Pegasus bridge.

‘They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.’

And 2 magnets with a Dutch text on them: ‘Privatly owned. Don’t touch!’ In a nice vintage font, so as not to disturb the look of the WW2 vehicle too much.
