No trip to Greece 🇬🇷 is complete without a visit to one (or one hundred) of its islands. For sandy beaches, ancient ruins, turquoise waters and souvlaki (or gyros, baklava, pastitsio, etc. etc.)
Athens with a mix of islands and the Peloponnese really is a magical, unforgettable vacation!

Morocco is an amazingly beautiful country with so much to see, explore, and eat! From the desert to the sea, from buzzing markets to mountain hikes. And so much to learn about the Berbers, the ancient Jewish community, and Spanish, Ottoman and Arab influences - a true melange of cultures! Shopping in the Jemaa el-Fnaa market in Marrakech is a must - you never know what you’ll find - from mounds of spices, bakeries baking traditional bread, metal-workers, herbal remedies for whatever might ail you, to piles of sweets. Of course, it’s also the perfect place to get a henna tattoo.
In Fez, you can see the traditional leather workshops and dye pots (but you might need to hold your nose). Add to those great cities - the Atlas Mountains, the Sahara desert, beautiful blue Chefchaouen, and the Atlantic coast….

As you know, we’re originally South Africans and South Africa 🇿🇦 holds an important place in our hearts. Every year we try to get back to visit the places we love, especially safaris, and we can share what we learn with you. Safari is truly a life-changing experience- getting up close and experiencing the world of nature. How often do we get that in our regular lives? So amazing to watch a long line of elephants crossing a path when the little ones barely understand the purpose of their trunks…or to see a leopard dragging half an antelope up a tree…or a pride of lions resting in the shade….And there’s nothing quite as magical as sundowners as the sun sets…
