Christmas Artists' Studio Open House, Saturday, December 7, is one of the best reasons to visit Lindsborg. Showcasing area artists in their studios with their art for sale, the Red Barn Studio Museum is the host to this unique opportunity. Raymer created a toy for his wife every year as a Christmas gift, most toys being mechanical and all of them handmade. These marvels will be on display in the Red Barn on Saturday, December 7, and throughout the holiday season.

Walking through the Red Barn Studio Museum will inspire you to take a look again at something that is usually easily discarded: "The artist was adept at transforming ordinary items cast off by friends and neighbors. The gold embellishments on many of the toys he made, for example, are from sardine tins and cans of corn."

Get your creative juices flowing by experiencing Raymer's inventive and unstoppable creativity, and then witness how the spirit of Lester Raymer is alive and well in the art community of Lindsborg.
