Statewide, day-long vigil on September 1, 2023

Join all of Hawai‘i for a one-day statewide vigil in support of Maui. This day is centered on emotional and spiritual healing that is rooted in Native Hawaiian practices with leaders from diverse faiths.

How you can participate on September 1:

**Watch ceremonies taking place across our islands, live online and on TV.**

SCHEDULE
6:00 – 7:30 am
Native Hawaiian Sunrise Ceremony
11:45 am – 1:30 pm

Noon Ceremony
(Diverse faith-based leaders come together)

6:30 – 8:00 pm
Native Hawaiian Sunset Ceremony

Experienced licensed boat captain sought to join our large fleet spanning the Big Island from Kona, Waikoloa and Kawaihae. Powerboat shifts are available in Kawaihae and Waikoloa. Captains with a sailing endorsement can also tun the catamarans in Waikoloa and Honokohau.

We do not do manta trips; captains and crew do not need to work nights. The workday ends after the Sunset trip.

Experienced boat crew also welcome to apply for deckhand positions.

Join our growing team and deliver five-star service on a range of fun and exciting ocean activities. Full-time (4 full-days per week) applicants are priority; part-time and fill-in captains may also apply.

Hawaii Nautical is one of Hawaii's largest ocean-activity providers, with a fleet of vessels islandwide serving many harbors across Oahu and the Big Island. We believe in delivering service, safety, and the spirit of Aloha.

We do not have night-trips so all shifts end after the Sunset sail at the latest. We are very eco-conscious and we do not do swim-with-dolphins nor swim-with-mantas trips. We respect the ocean and the ecosystem, and follow strict guidelines so that all marine mammals and wildlife are protected.
