A reminder to people on island from Ron Bolton at GIWA. The water is coming back in SOME places as the water main to the island is literally rebuilt this week. Crews from Margate have been here to help GIWA on the Causeway. However, if you have water at your house or business, please conserve it and refrain from any outdoor washing, and major usage.

And remember, some side streets may not have water yet, as lines are broken in many places.

There is also minimal sewer service on the island; there are two lift stations now back in service, so judicious use of everything is warranted.

GIWA is doing fantastic job, but be patient.
