The Concrete Bohemian Hello. Thanks for stopping in. I am the concrete Bohemian. That is Bohemian with a capital “B” as I do posses real Bohemian blood. That is where I come from.

Approximately 140 years ago my great grandfather traveled from Bohemia and landed on East 10th Street in New York City – surrounded by concrete his new life began. After a few years and like young men of the day he headed west - staying near the familiar, concrete. He settled in the city of Chicago again surrounded by concrete. He worked hard, married his sweetheart and raised a family. That is wh

ere I continue to live among the familiar concrete. I dwell within society unconsciously seceding from conventional life. I fancy myself an excursionist. Be it a journey of the mind, the soul, the heart, or the imagination; regardless if they happen simultaneously or independent of each other. They often occur daily. My jewelry is made of souvenirs collected on these wanderings. In addition to souvenirs, charms and amulets can be valuable for journeys we have yet to experience. Some of my pieces have specific symbolic meaning. These are not meant to be magical in any way but meant as more of a reminder of the magic each of us carries in our heart and soul.
