America has been my dream since 10th grade and I’m very thankful that I have this opportunity to make my dream into reality. I study at Portland State University and I have wonderful tennis team. My teammates and coaches are my second family and every single one of them has high hopes for the future. My freshman year had its ups and downs but I enjoyed every single day of it. I’m more excited to be sophomore this year!
Thanks a lot to Sport & Education USA for giving me this amazing opportunity!

"Everything is alright so far! It's just the beginning. We have a lot of practice hours - both, running and working with weights. Official games will start soon. There is some excitement for me, because we are playing quite different basketball compare to Europe. Our coach is very experienced, demanding but also understanding. There are no problems for me in the school. I'm gradually getting used to everything. Thank you!"

"I am very glad to have the wonderful opportunity - to study and play tennis in the USA! I love the whole process of coaching. Coaches are working individually with each player and I see real progress in my game and overall physical condition. The team and the coaches are great, everyone is very friendly. My studies go well too. Sometimes I have to sit at homeworks a little longer in the evenings, but overall it's not too difficult. I have met many new friends. I am very grateful to "Sport and Education USA" for your help!"

"Sport and Education USA" is proud about all of its athletes, who will join their teams from the Fall of 2014. Among them Luize Liva Strike, a tennis player from Latvia, accepted athletic scholarship offer from prestigious Seton Hall University in NJ !!!

From SHU web page:

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Coming off the most successful season the program has seen in over a decade – one which ended with a shutout victory over Butler at the BIG EAST Tournament – the Seton Hall tennis team has added Luize Liva Strike (Riga, Latvia) for the 2014-15 season head coach Greg Wyzykowski announced on Wednesday.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome a player of Luize’s caliber to our program,” said Wyzykowski. “She has extensive experience competing against high level opponents and possesses a well-rounded skill set that will enable her to contribute on both the singles and doubles courts.”

One of the most accomplished junior players in her native Latvia, Strike has been a member of the Latvian National Team on several levels, traveling abroad to represent her country at the European Junior Championships on three occasions.

One of several new faces who will suit up for the Pirates in the fall, Strike appears poised to make an immediate impact for a Seton Hall squad that continues to improve.

Hi! I'm very well. This year, I represent Tennessee Temple University. Here I'm playing both, soccer and basketball. The results are very good. Both coaches are happy about my performance and that is why I have high athletic scholarship. I have never played basketball as good as now. It seems that I have understood how to play "American style" basketball. I am glad that I came to this school. I finished the school year with average grade of 3.89 !!!
