Funny experience at the small village post office today. I sent 126 envelopes internationally and spent about an hour putting some awesome stickers on these bad boys.

From Thailand, Costa Rica, India, the UK, the US, all corners of Canada, most of western Europe, and all of Australia, what an awesome group of amazing people!! Each of you bring back some fantastic memories, thanks for taking me with you :)

Christmas has come early at the home base in North Germany!! These are the TGTL DVD's with full HD episodes one, two, & three, plus the creator's commentary.

They will be sent out as Kickstarter Backer Rewards very shortly :) Thanks again for everyone who supported this project from day 1 and stay tuned because the production photo books are up next!

Hi Everyone,

This is our Creators Commentary video with a little behind the scenes on how and why we decided to produce the TGTL pilot series. It's a bit long, but if you're interested I think you'll like it, we go into more detail than was expected and it turned out well so we decided to keep it as is.

By now I am hoping you have watched some of our first three episodes and have an understanding of the concept we set out to capture.

The heart and soul of this series is to document the stories of people who are creating positive change within their communities and making a real difference for their future generations.

We hope you enjoy the video and look forward for more to come from the TGTL series.

The first three episodes of our pilot series are uploaded and LIVE :) Excited times for the TGTL Team.

We have almost completed our Kickstarter campaign with a Creators Commentary video still to come and some DVD and Photobook rewards to send out.

It has been an awesome ride thus far and we still have so much further to go! Fingers crossed we get the distribution support needed to continue production :) Until then, enjoy the first three episodes and stay tuned for some extra features still to come!

In light of the recent tragedies in Beirut and Paris, the five year civil war in Syria, and the 30+ years of ongoing conflict in Iraq (not to mention Afghanistan, Palestine, Central African Republic, etc.), I still believe there is more genuine goodness in people then there is evil.

I will never understand what drives such hate, but what I do attempt to understand is what drives hope.

This is our third and final episode of a pilot documentary series that highlights the stories of people who actively empower positive change. Of people who care for one another and against all odds attempt to create a better and more sustainable future.

This episode is about an Indian NGO providing much needed basic housing assistance to local populations living in Urban Slums. It is about shelter, land rights, mirco financing, and urban development.

The local NGO is empowering slum dwellers to stand up for their rights and to create an identity within the city they call home.

Dreaming of travel and adventures past. This is a grab from our flight into India where we began filming episode 03 based on Shelter and the work of an amazing NGO, the Urban and Development Research Centre.

This is the second episode of the Travel Global Think Local series.

It is based on an initiative called the Music Project in Sri Lanka. We decided to document the work of the Music Project because they are using a means of practical education to build bridges and help reunite a once worn torn country.

This ground breaking project builds orchestral communities to connect children in the north and south through the shared power of music.

The episode is about the students gaining confidence, self-esteem, and team building skills through performing as a member of an orchestra and helping to instil social cohesion among children who have been historically separated by an imposed conflict.

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to send a quick update on the progress of Episode 02 Education Sri Lanka.

A draft copy was sent to the main characters in the episode and with their comments and feedback, we added to the final edit emphasizing certain sequences.

At this stage the draft is 95% complete with a few small changes still in the process. We are working to dial out the best possible edit and hope to do so soon.

It has proven to take a little longer than I was expecting to share with you Episode 02 Education Sri Lanka, but hopefully in the end all of these minor changes will be worth the wait :)

Thanks for all the interest and support thus far, and stay tuned because it should be live soon!!
