Monday Tip: When do we go??

Probably one of the most common questions I get is, when is the best time to go? My honest answer is we like to go when there are a lot of people there!

So when is that? It just depends on the park, but usually there are a few times a year for theme parks where the crowds are just lower.

The typical times for these are usually a little ways before a holiday, i.e. we go in September for Halloween and early November for Christmas. Or go immediate right after, i.e. the week right after Thanksgiving or the weekend after Labor or Memorial Day.

Also late Winter, Mid January to the end of March are great (avoid spring breaks) and then again in early May to avoid the school crowds.

We also usually avoid summer at all cost (mostly due to heat and crowds) but some people love that.

So the best time for your fam to go is whenever you want BUT I’m here to help plan so you don’t have to!

Ride Wednesday:

The Haunted Mansion in Disneyland

This is easily by far one of my family's favorite rides ever! Even when my kids were little. It's full of fun, history, and details are incredible!

Dearly depart into a foreboding estate, drag your body to the dead center of the Portrait Chamber and watch as the walls begin to stretch before your eyes. Climb into your waiting Doom Buggy and embark on a shivering journey into an unearthly realm.

The disembodied voice of the Ghost Host is your private guide through the cadaverous dwelling—home to grinning ghosts and other spectral surprises.

Glide past a rattling casket in the conservatory. Head off to Madame Leota's spirited séance room. Float by the Grand Ballroom and its waltzing apparitions. Take a spin through a cemetery where the spirited residents regale you with song.

One of our favorite times of year at the Parks is Halloween.

It is a time we try and go every year. From the decorations to the characters wearing costumes, the treats, the ride overlays (Nightmare at Haunted Mansion, Guardians after Dark), to the parades and treats... it is incredible.

And you can experience Halloween from early September into the end of October... it truly is for us, one of those family core memories we carry.

Take ALL the pictures. Don’t worry about rushing, you will have time to ride the rides but if you push yourself too fast it won’t be fun… what is fun? Taking all the ridiculous pictures in the world. You will never regret the memories!

One of the best things about the parks is the crazy amazing food… but don’t sleep on the food outside of the parks! Whether at Disney Springs in Florida or Downtown Disney in California, there are so many great options and you don’t need a ticket to enter or eat. This shake from is one of our absolute favorites!

When I get asked why I love Disney so much... I have a whole list of reasons, but these two right here... this is for me at the very top.

When my boys first were able to hug their favorite characters. It is one of the most emotional things and not just because it's Disney but getting to see this place through the eyes of your children is unreal.

I promise it makes this trip worth it. The magic is incredible.

(The first time Noah met Mickey, and when Jack met Winnie. I cried both times.)

It's Ride Wednesday!

Expedition Everest- Legend of the Forbidden Mountain found in Animal Kingdom!

This is absolutely one of our families favorite rides. You can find it in the Asia part of Animal Kingdom and get ready for the ride of your life!

Wander into a Tibetan village at the base of Mount Everest and board a train to the “top of the world.” Beware: Some say a legendary snow monster lives deep in the mountain.

After a steep ascent, your train picks up speed and races into the darkness. Without warning, a broken and twisted track appears in front of you. Brace yourself as you plummet backward into total darkness. Inside the cavern, the mythical tale comes true as you see the shadow of a massive, growling beast!

Hey there, Hi there, Ho There!

We have another amazing client sharing her Disney experience! Carryn went with her family to Disneyland and had an incredible time.

Favorite Memory: I think my 2 favorite memories are, initiating my brother on splash Mountain but then me and my mom getting absolutely soaked in the third and forth row and when the doors opened on the star destroyer to an army of storm troopers on rise of the resistance. Also just meeting my brother for the first time and creating that relationship at the “Happiest Place on Earth.

Favorite Rides: (couldn’t narrow them down) Indiana Jones, Big Thunder, and Rise of the Resistance, in no particular order.

Favorite Treat: My brother and I shared a cream puff outside of the Guardians ride that was fantastic. Also, we are a team blue milk family. In AdventureLand we had AMAZING kebabs at bangle BBQ.
