‘DO you think, CAN you think, HAVE YOU EVER thought ?!’, is ou Eyeballs, een van my eertydse LO-dosente se gunsteling vrae (wel, stelling, eerder ?) waaraan ek gereeld herinner word, deesdae. Hallo, watter deel van ‘Dra ‘n Masker’, verstaan jy nie ? OK, die ander helfde van die heelal hum-en-hah oor of dit wel ‘n verskil maak, maar, huh, wat het geword van die ‘precautionary principal’ (as jy nie díe Grieks verstaan nie: ‘Voorsorg- of Voorkomende beginsel’) ? Indien daar twyfel is, DRA die dêm ding (masker). Jy’t dalk nie ‘n saak met jou eie gesondheid nie, maar D**K vir een keer in jou lewe; daar’s Virusdraers wat tientalle ander besmet…en van hulle se dood veroorsaak. Laas toe ek gecheck het is dit, om iemand se dood te veroorsaak, moord…maar jy noem dit seker: ‘ag, maar hulle kan darem op loop gaan met ‘n ding ?!’

I believe the message by our President wasn't quite what we needed, in his speech, last night..Level 3 (?), soon'ish, with some hotspots still bearing the Level 4 burden.

I rather like to back our new(ish) President Ramaphosa but sadly, it appears his mandate is dwindling as the Coronavirus crisis drags on and he seems to be acting kind of pawn-like, as though he's being pushed around by fellow attention-seeking politicians. His leadership at the start of the crisis was a breath of fresh air (well, compared to what we had to stomach from his errant predecessor). Can he bounce back ?

Human nature (well, African, in this event ?) is killing us in the form of politics. Do people forever have to make themselves heard/felt, even when a breath of fresh air warms their face ?

It's almost tangible, the new energy in the air as the festive season and Christmas approaches. Our first major rains in the North of South Africa have started transforming surroundings into a delightfully colourful spectacle 🌿🥀. Vehicle tech developments

We live in exciting and fast progressive times in which millennials are old-skool, kids are born tech-smart and transport evolves at a rate we can hardly keep u with.

In South Africa, the electric automobile can hardly be considered to be on the immediate horizon, as somewhat erratic electricity supply patterns (at least until the new power stations come online) would leave you stranded periodically. For this reason, we at CHOICE TOURS look at hybrid vehicles for the near future. While ensuring we make the best and most efficient use of the conventional, in recent years much improved diesel & petrol engines, we look forward to put them to use soon, combined with electric technology, which will, hopefully, become more affordable, rather sooner than later..

Our fleet of recent model vehicles include the super-comfy VW T6 Kombi and the surprisingly fuel efficient 13-seater Toyota Quantum. There are exciting developments on the 13-seater front in the shape of the new Quantum. Replacing our current 13-seaters with these is a firm part of your medium-term planning.

'They say' business is what happens while you're making plans and we continue, in the here-and-the-now, to keep our current fleet maintained according the highest standards, while committed be kind to the environment and always mindful of best sustainability practices.
