An exhibition of hand woven textiles is being organized with the title "Tana Bana" by textile design department on 20th December 2023. Chief guest Rana Shabbir Haider CEO Birdie Apparel inagurated the exhibition in the company of principal Dr.Sumera Jawad and HOD Textile Department Dr.Asna Mubashra. This event was successfully organized by MFA-1 Textile Design students under the title graduate colloquium.

A seminar on "Textile Business Challeges" has been organized for Textile design students and faculty. There were two experts from industry. They had decades of experiences in their fields. One of them was Mrs.Sidra Zulifqar, Head Fashion and Textile department, Nishat Textiles. And the 2nd speaker was Mr. Rana Nisar, CEO, Nisar Textiles, Lahore. This activity was being assigned to MFA-1 under the title Graduate Colloquium by Mrs. Aisha Khan, Assistant Professor, Textile Design Department PUCAD on 6th of December 2023.

An exhibition was being curated with the title "Textile Art Exhibition" for the 1st time in any gallery out of universities. where different works were being collected from different cities. Collected works were also done in textile medium by different textile professionals. participating artists belonged to Gujrat, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sialkot , Bahawalpur, Gujranwala and Lahore. The chief guests and visitors appreciated the work a lot. They said its quite amazing to see exhibition in textile medium from the artists of different cities.
This activity is being done under the course Graduate Colloquium.
