Forever known as National Charlie Day!

Today, I had to say goodbye to the most loyal friend I’ve ever had—Charlie, my Superman. He was more than just a dog; he was family, my true companion with a heart that was pure and full of love. My travel agent assistant, one that never left my side. These last few hours have been filled with heartbreak, but I’m grateful I could make his farewell exactly how he deserved. Well to be honest he deserved more but this was what I had to work with so little time.

We celebrated his life with everything he loved: his favorite treats, his favorite places, and one last walk across the rainbow bridge with everyone by his side. We made sure he left us feeling loved, at peace, and surrounded by his family.

He fought hard, and so did we—after a diagnosis that came all too quickly. From me landing at home to a quick vet visit- something is wrong- to the vet transfers- to the ER, it was a rollercoaster, but I’m grateful that we were all together for his final moments. Tyler made it home just in time, and Sage joined us on FaceTime so we could all say goodbye together as a family.

Charlie, my dear friend, my Superman, I’ll miss you forever. You’ll be cremated with your Superman outfit, a fitting tribute for the superhero you’ve been in my life.

To all my clients and friends, please know I’m taking time to grieve and won’t be available for a few days. I’ll be heading to Mexico with my family soon to rest, recover, and remember my sweet Charlie.

Charlie, you’ve left a mark on my heart that will never fade. Rest easy, my love. Thank you for being my everything even during the hardest year delt to our family.

PS- what a best last day!! We really did have a great day buddy. I will never forget this song by Lady Gaga singing as I took our last picture leaving the parking lot. How random that it came on at this exact moment we left alone together. “I will always remember us this way…..” I looked up the song and will never hear it the same again.
Glad to have sport mode on in little Lexi the whole way home for your last ride! No regrets. 1-25 fast and fun ride. The police can kick rocks if they pull us over 🚓🚨I will take the ticket

Happy Veterans Day!

I want to take a moment to honor the sacrifices made not only by veterans but also by their families and friends. Thank you for your service to our country. I’d also like to extend a special thank you to military families for your unwavering support and dedication. As a mother of a son currently serving on active duty in the Air Force, I see firsthand the sacrifices military families make, and I am deeply grateful for everything you do.

Friendly Reminder: Due to a high volume of weddings, family/bestie emergencies, and a much-needed family vacation, I am unable to take new reservations until January 2025.

Update for Travel by Erin October 7, 2024

As many of you know I recently returned from Europe with a broken computer and had to reroute to Florida due to a serious medical emergency involving a dear friend. I am currently back in Colorado with a working computer. I will be here for a few days however I am fully unavailable until at least October 8th to assist those affected by this developing hurricane and have their trips impacted.

Please note that I am unable to take new quotes today!!!

However, if you are planning a destination wedding or you are a guest of a destination wedding, you are one of my top priorities this week!!

For those traveling soon, I understand your urgency and will reach out shortly, you are also a top priority!!

I have hired an assistant to help me from October 8th to 12th, and I appreciate your patience as I catch up. I will get back to everyone!

Florida residents and people traveling this week PLEASE listen to evacuation orders, your life is not worth risking. Let's hope this storm shifts a little- 2 hits in a few weeks is too much!! Hearing the stories in the Tampa airport on Saturday from people. The last storm Helena was tragic, some people with the best spirits lost everything!! Things are replaceable, people are not! PLEASE stay safe everyone.

Listen people I will move mountains 🏔️ if I can when you need me. I did not get back to Colorado as planned but I am in Florida since Monday now and doing well assisting the best I can here.
This state must be the friendliest I have ever been in, AND I live in Colorado!!
I’m sorry for the people that I cut through TSA with my crazy 🫎 hat on, but it was necessary. For this to happen in CHICAGO of all places - oh my gosh!!! Honestly, I am just glad that I am not is jail. 🫎 on the loose disturbs Chicago airport 🤪 Story for another time but I am glad my 2 falls running to the gate did not equal a knee or wrist fracture. I am very lucky 🍀 and counting my blessings

For now I am 100% unavailable unless you’re dying or have an emergency 😆
this has been an adventure I need to document one day. It is starting to seem like every day is an adventure that I need to document 🤪😳🙃

What an incredible adventure on the “Travel with Erin 2024 group trip” Best of Switzerland🇨🇭 so many laughs- so much fun.
However those of you traveling with me, you already know the challenge I've been facing:
my computer, which is my lifeline to my business, completely broke down and won't turn on while here in Europe. 😬 It worked for the first few days, so I suspect the high voltage may have fried the motherboard even with adapter and converter. It took all of my recent hard work with it 🙃😢This has made it nearly impossible for me to do much beyond basic texting, emails, and phone calls.

Adding to that, my flight home was canceled, so I've been left with no choice but to remain closed until around October 2nd or 3rd. ✈️ resting in Zurich after arranging travel, plans and transportation.

Once I’m back home, fully rested, and my tech is back up and running, I’ll be able to get back on track. I promise, despite traveling, I’ve been pushing myself and working around the clock as much as possible for those of you waiting for email replies and quotes.

Oh my gosh... can you feel my excitement???? I spent last night with the Jamaica Tourist Board and it was AWESOME! I love the island, the people, the food, and everything about Jamaica. It was so exciting to hear that United Airlines is offering nonstop flights from Denver starting this winter. THANK YOU UNITED!!!!! The island is always changing, growing, and evolving. If you haven't been in a few years you should go back, there are so many new resorts and experiences. Personally, I can't wait to see the new Sandals Dunns River!! For my UNICO lovers-drum roll please...... there is a Unico resort coming to Jamaica!!!!
If you haven't been to the island before you need to talk to me about it, there is nothing like the ONE LOVE!
