Latest up date on The Visual History Of The Motorhome - due end of 2024/ early 2025 - now being designed by publishers Pen and Sword - this is the follow up book of The Visual History O f The Caravan - and promises lots images from the 1920's tp modern times - more up dates over the coming months with a front cover teaser to follow!

Well the latest book has just been finished - well for the time being because now its written there is lots more work involved in checking and re-doing snags that have come to light but the main is all now in. Front cover news hopefully to follow soon as the embargo has been lifted - more news to follow

Phew we’ll just been onto the publishers and drum roll good news they have extended my deadline so as long as I do my side of the deal it should be published next year !!!

Well not great news but one that was predictable - The Visual History Of The Motohome has been cancelled by the publishers due to me running over with time - book is half done and lots of work gone into it sourcing new material etc - what I am going to try and do and its on a wing and a prayer is to ask for it to be reinstated till the end of December - otherwise its gone - would have been an ideal companion book to the visual history of caravans also Pen and Sword - so off to do a phone call to see if it can be saved - covers all done too and it looked good!

Its 25 years ago my first book was published by Veloce - I look at it now and realise there was much I could have improved on. It was a big learning curve and little did I know then but 15 more books would follow - this is still available on kindle and also you can still pick the book up used check out my You Tube Channel The Caravan Industry expert i chat about how this book came to light.

Wow where has this year gone? I have two books on the go and the work is tough as deadline dates creep up - getting the archive material together and settling down in a family house to work on a book isnt easy-I will keep you posted hoping that my contracts dont get axed !!!

Well I can now announce the 2023 book project making this my 18th in 25 years since the first publication - Its for Amberley Publications and my 5th for them since 2017 - the story of the Campervan - will keep you updated on progress over the coming months - meanwhile A visual History of the Motorhome is hoping to be finished by January 2023 - more news on that as and when ie front cover news.

At present on Amazon the story of eccles is only available on kindle not sure why but go to Amberley publishing for the book and ask for James who will sort you out with a copy - Ci book now nearly out of stock but kindle version ok of course so contact James at Amberley Publishing 01453-847800 but be quick for book copies - also dont forget to order the caravanning in the 1970's out December 15th ,,,, again you can pre order through Amazon or James at Amberley.
