The final stop on our Christmas Markets tour was Cologne! We were so excited to be back in this beautiful city after our visit in the summer. 

During the holidays, Cologne transforms into a winter wonderland. It was so much fun strolling through the seven different markets, all of which had their own special style and flair.

After years of avoiding the cold, we decided to fully embrace the holiday season this December in Germany! The big cities were truly magical, but a highlight was the time we spent with VIVA Cruises.

Over 4 nights, we cruised in style down the Main River from Frankfurt to so many beautiful small towns. Each one had its own special castle and christmas market, which made for such a unique experience🎄💕

Our first trip to Nuremberg was so much fun! It’s easy to see why many people consider it to be one of the top Christmas Markets in Germany.

Besides all the classic hits, we loved tasting the Nuremberg gingerbread cookies and local rostbratwurst. We’re already dreaming of our next visit! 🥰🇩🇪

Started off our German Christmas Markets tour with a visit to Hamburg! This city in Northern Germany will truly get you in the holiday spirit.

Aside from all the delicious food and gluhwein, the highlight was definitely watching Santa fly over the market in his sleigh! What an amazing two days we had in Hamburg 🎄🇩🇪
