A family reunion of sorts, 2 of 7 PRR “Presidential” cars met today in Owosso, MI. The last time Frank Thomson and Samual Rea may have met was 1963 at the latest. That makes at least 60 years since these cars have passed each other. Photos by Aaron Farmer.

On time arrival into Indy. The eastbound Spirit of St Louis arrives into Indy Union Station with Frank Thomson bringing up the markers. Thousands of passengers came home for the Holidays on Frank Thomson in years past. Merry Christmas to all!

A better way to freshen up while traveling aboard Frank Thomson! The former porters quarters has been upgraded from a utility room to a spacious (by railcar standards) shower room. Vintage railroad fixtures were used where practical: the ceiling light from a UP coach, mirror and waste can from an El-Cap ATSF bag-dorm, vents from a CBQ 10-6, mirror lights from a dome, and door from an EL coach.
