We visit, photograph and review what we think is the best of Scottish accommodation:
Welcoming bed and breakfasts, interesting hotels with fine food, and good self-catering holiday cottages. Some are in ancient castles, some modern, some traditional, some in Edinburgh or St Andrews and some as remote as you can find. All the properties are independently owned, and you can contact the owners directly from the each page.
