Hello everyone. Just an update on what's going off. A few changes coming for next 6-8 weeks. My wife's having an op today and it's going to require a lot of care from myself to look after her and make sure she has a good recovery. This will mean I'll be reducing my working hour's to shorter day's as I'll not only be making sure to cater to my wife but I've kid's to look after aswell so I'll be like a full time parent aswell as fitting work in too so I'm going to be very hectic with very little time spare. I understand this doesn't work for some people but I am a family man and my family are always my number 1 priority and will always come first above work. Hope your all well though and enjoying the lovely weather. Hoping it keeps on through summer 🙏😁🔨🪚

Hope everyone's having a nice bank hol weekend. Wrapped this one up yesterday. Media wall with alcove shelves and cupboards. Customer decided on mdf boarding for a more solid surface with having young Grandkids visit often. Precision was key as always so everything sat flush with using alternate boarding to plasterboard and one of the customer's even said he'd never seen anyone be so precise to mm 😂 not a bad thing I'm guessing. Shelves will be having spotlights in. Cables are fed in ready for their sparky to sort them. I filled and sanded all the pin holes which I went a bit overboard with. Definitely use a smaller filling knife next time 😂 also caulked up aswell so all ready for decorating to be done. Used blum soft close hinges on the door's aswell with a finished detail on the front of the door's as requested by the customer. On to the next job tomorrow 🙂🔨🪚

Hello everyone. Amongst the inconvenience of my car breaking down I managed to get this wrapped up this week for an old school mate. First time I've done a stair renovation with metal spindles but turned out very well. Newel posts we're a non standard size so ended up having to build them out before wrapping them with oak. I also worked my magic to make the ledge at the top of the stairs look better and tidied up some more bit's that I thought would give a better finish to it over all. Also applied osmo oil to it after it was fitted. Just want to say thankyou again to Tegan Levin and Tom for their patience and for the brews n sarnie 😁 always nice having a catch up with people you know from school 😁

Happy Easter everyone and I hope you all have a great weekend 🙂🔨🪚

Managed to get this job ticked off yesterday after having car issue's. Some weeks just don't go to plan. Customer had a concept designed by Howdens to form a utility area and box around the boiler. Instead of being fully fitted though customer asked for panels to be removable to gain access to plumbing and boiler so that's exactly what I did and turned out well. Customer's are very happy with result and said it's exactly what they we're after which is what it's all about. Also fitted 3 sets of architrave while i was there too. Want to thank them both for their patience while the car issue's have been ongoing. Much appreciated 🙏👍🔨🪚

Another job ticked off today. Customer wanted rid of their old fireplace and to turn it in to a media wall with alcove cupboards. Then afterwards I removed the existing skirting and fitted their Herringbone effect laminate floor then refitted the existing skirting back on. Unit's and door's have been made from scratch as always. Just out of mdf because they wanted something they could paint. Also have a little alcove at the side of the shelving area to hide their Nintendo switch out of sight. Shelves have LED strip Lighting fitted again by the top man Anthony England at A R E Electrical Services. Not had chance to get pic's with them on yet but customer is going to send me some after it's decorated. Look forward to seeing the end result. Thankyou Rich and Jen for constant top ups of tea and biscuits 😁😂 🔨🪚

First completed job of the year. Full stairs renovation. Had to make all the cladding for it as they don't seem to offer pine cladding as standard so machined it all to size for the job and also made the newel caps. All ready to be oiled by the customer. All those awaiting me coming out to quote I will finally get out to you next week. Sorry for the delay. This job has been very time consuming and had to get it completed in a short time frame ready for carpet fitter coming. 🔨🪚
