From one bespoke Job to the next. Was asked by the customer to build a bespoke wardrobe because they wanted something solid that will last. They gave me a concept idea and I discussed everything with them and they went for the idea of bi-fold door's across the front to allow for a bit more room for getting access. They also opted for butt hinges, dado and cornice and beading inset in the door's to give it a more traditional look and finish. All cabinets, door's, drawer fronts and drawer's made from scratch using 18mm radiata pine boards and a 9mm Okoume plywood for the back's and door drawer panels to make them solid and rigid. Drawers are on soft close runner's and have an 18mm bottom panel to keep them solid and tonprevent sagging like you get with thin panel's. Seperation panels are 24mm radiata pine board's to give a better fix for the hinges. Definitely took longer than expected but I'm well happy with the results once again and enjoyed the process for the end result and as always big thankyou to customer for their patience and for giving me opportunity to build this for them and of course the brews on tap ☕️. Can't wait to see what finish they go for 🙂🔨🪚

Hello everyone. Apologies to those still awaiting quotes. It has been a very hectic few week's getting everything made and continuing with my current project aswell as working around family life due to my wife's shifts. Most day's I don't stop doing thing's until around 9pm. I am about to sit down now though and start working thing's out for everyone waiting. Here's a sneak peak to what I am on with though. 18 door's because some of the door's are going to be bi-fold's, 6 drawer fronts and 6 drawers all made from scratch. They're going to have a decorative mould inset aswell 🔨🪚

Hello. Just a quick update on my schedule. Apologies to those awaiting quotes. I have been really busy. On with a bespoke hand built wardrobe at the moment and been on with cutting everything to make 18 door's and 6 drawer fronts and 6 drawers to make so been very time consuming. Almost there with it. As for availability at the moment I'll most likely not be available until towards the end of Nov early Dec next or if your wanting to get booked in for next year for anything then feel free to get in touch as this year and last I filled up very fast. I have a few in waiting who will get priority first but look forward to whatever future projects come my way.

Thankyou

Some more picture's from most recent job. Customer decided to go for 170mm Victorian style skirting and 80mm Victorian style Architrave with a plinth block and i personally love how it looks to go with the theme of the rest of what I've done. A lot has been decorated since these pic's so I'll be getting some updated one's this week. 🔨🪚

Another part of all the bespoke work I've done whilst been at my current project is this Radiator cover. All bespoke made to size, routered etc to match with traditional style they have gone for. Will get another picture once they've fully finished decorating. Also going to be making another one for them 🙂

Really enjoyed all bespoke work I've been given the chance to do. 🔨🪚

Let there be light 💡✨️

Just want to say thankyou to all the likes, shares and amazing feedback I've had off of this project so far. Really appreciate it and makes what i do all the more worth while. I always take pride in all my work i do whether it's family, friend's or public and this one I'm extremely proud of how it turned out.

A very labour intensive job from start to finish being fully bespoke built from scratch but 100% worth it for the end result.

Part 2 of this amazing project. Stages taking it to the end of the finish. Customer went for an oak effect colour and result's are amazing. As i said before i had to sand 2 grits to allow the colour to pop as it has done and brought the grain out lovely and had to sand the next grit up on the bare edges to make sure all the colour blended. Some really nice patterns in the wood. So you get the oak effect without the actual cost of oak itself (which would have been crazy money) overall though really happy with the finish and so are the customer's which is the end goal 😁🔨🪚

Hello everyone. Been a while since i last posted but your about to see where a lot of my time has been put in to to create this amazing unit 😂. Back in January i was asked to price for a media wall aswell as some other project's which included understairs storage, picture frame panelling, skirting, architrave and a radiator cover. Instead of the usual stud and plasterboard media wall though the customer's wanted it built from hardwood to form cabinets and shelving with strip lighting for displaying their collectables and extra storage which was music to my ear's being given opportunity to finally build something of this calibre. I was given a concept to work from and worked with the customer's to create what they we're after. All of it was bespoke built from Tulipwood hardwood board's (no pre built cabinets or door's) all built and made by hand from scratch. It has been a very labour intensive job and included fully sanding and oiling aswell. 2 grits of sandpaper and 2 coats of osmo Amber oil (oak effect) and a top coat of odies oil for that bit of extra protection. I want to say a big thankyou to John and Lyndsey for not only giving me opportunity to build everything and all the work they have given me but also for their amazing hospitality (never without tea or food 😂) and for their patience and understanding especially during the 6 week's hols trying to manage childcare and work. Been fantastic to work for and regard them as friend's now not just a customer. I'll post the pic's in 2 halves. 1st half before finish was applied and the second the amazing outcome of all the hardwork and a few vids to showcase. 🙏🔨🪚

Also want to say a big thankyou to Anthony England at A R E Electrical for all electrical work involved. Top bloke and Highly recommend him.

(P.s i had permission to keep my tools on the shelves i built and took caution to prevent damaging it 😁)
