During this time in lockdown I’ve been looking into some more ECO friendly travel 🧳

Did you know, it is possible to travel long distances by train, reducing your carbon footprint and visiting amazing places along the way 🌿
The longest train ride in the world is 17,000 km (10,566 miles) long, and goes from Portugal to Vietnam.
If you were to make this train ride with no stop (just making the train transfers), it would take you approximatively 327 hours or 14 days.
However, I would recommend that you actually take the time to stop and visit all the amazing places along the way 😉
This amazing train ride will take you through Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Poland, Russia, Mongolia, China, and Vietnam. That could be the trip of a lifetime!

💗 💭 Just imagine 💭💗
It’s your first holiday since quarantine......
You step off the plane and the hot, dry air envelopes you like the warm hug from an old friend.
You collect your cases and go through passport control, taking in the sights and sounds of this new country. You walk outside and the heat embraces you again. You feel excited as you find your way to your hotel, breathing in your surroundings. The warm dusty air flicks up to where the palm trees flutter in the sunshine.
Finally you are there! You check in and excitedly rush to your room, quickly change and get down to the pool. You walk outside and the sun kisses your skin with its fiery touch. You order a mojito and sit at the edge of the pool, dipping your toes in, thinking about how long you have waited for THIS moment!
Soft music plays in the background as you lay back and inhale everything about this feeling, appreciating it more than EVER before......so lucky, lucky to be there, lucky for the freedom to travel, to experience these wonderful feelings.
Let’s remember, as we pause, to NEVER take that for granted again 💗
