Sound Birthing is the use of music during labor and delivery to assist with the natural progression of labor, help with pain management, and create a more peaceful birth environment. How does Sound Birthing work? Sound Birthing uses expertly designed playlists that correspond with each stage of labor. These playlists focus on meeting the mother's physical and emotional needs throughout the birth p
rocess. The tempo and rhythm of the music selections help to regulate the mother's breathing and heart rate, keeping them at optimal levels for labor and delivery. The harmony and melody of the music selections encourage relaxation of the mind and promote positive mood states. Who can benefit from Sound Birthing? Any expectant mother can benefit from Sound Birthing. Although Sound Birthing is most often used during natural/unmedicated childbirth, Sound Birthing can be used during epidural births, inductions, or cesarian births. Sound Birthing can also be used in conjunction with other birth techniques, such as the Bradley method. Why choose Sound Birthing? The main goal of Sound Birthing is to provide mothers with a positive birth experience. Music has many unique elements that help to support this goal. At Birth, Babies, and Bach, we truly believe that every baby should be born on a happy note. Where is Birth, Babies, and Bach located? Birth, Babies, and Bach is located in Nashville, Tennessee.
