The boys loaded up on fish tacos yesterday! I’m running these trips like this till late-ish April and fishing is only going to get better for walleye and bass! Shout out to for saving the day with a boat ramp worm delivery when we ended up not having as many as we thought 😅

Finally got the cold weather for duck season we needed all season right at the end! The last week was pretty epic on the big river! What I believe is my 23rd season in the books, and another last day of duck season leaving me loving waterfowl hunting more than ever….

Epic sturgeon opener!
Sad to see all the drama surrounding this fishery. We are lucky to have the amazing resource and was great to see everyone out there enjoying the new year.

Ok ok last Mexico post for awhile I swear haha.
Last day joined me and we caught fish till our arms couldn’t. Almaco Jack, golden trevally, pompano, triggerfish, Roosterfish, you name it!

Way too many pictures and cool fish for one post so I’m gonna break our Baja trip into several…
First day on the boat gave me the chance to land my first couple yellowtail (which were absolutely amazing for dinner) and a lil rooster on the way in.

Fruitful day in the gorge filling turkey tags on 3 toms!
Stocked up on white meat now too, if you ask nicely I bet she’ll dm you her tortilla soup recipe that we use alot of our quail, chukar, pheasant, and of course turkeys in. Pretty great meal after a day in our PNW rainy weather.
Kiley and I both very much enjoy almost exclusively eating our fish and game we harvest for dinner in a years time. It adds to the hunt and provides an extra sense of satisfaction at the end of the day.

Late fall days in the drift boat with great clients!

Filled my late tag early and there’s still coho to be caught!
I’m opening up tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday
For the sled in the big river or drift boat on klickitat for coho and possible steelhead
Fishing is still good but these will probably be my last salmon days of the season I’ll offer given the rain coming in this weekend.

I’ll be offering some late November and December steelhead trips if anyone wants to get on the call list for that!
