Mexico is HOT 🥵 in July. The pool was much appreciated. The best part was that we pretty much had the pool and resort to ourself until the weekend.

What a drive! The border was fine. It got a little more real a little closer to Puerto Peñasco. We had to stop at a health station. They asked for our reservation details, Colter showed him the phone. He said we needed it printed out 😳. Then he laughed and said just kidding.
We had to get out of the car to have our temperatures checked and walk through a cleansing station. I would have loved to get a picture of this but I was gathering children and placing masks on faces.
Then we had to drive through a cleansing station and we were good to go!
Every time we entered our resort or any restaurant or store, we had our temperature checked and hand sanitizer places on our hands. Some places even sprayed our shoes.
By the way, it was one-way back also! Haha

This weekend at Mesa Falls we had to hike the road into it, which you can usually drive, because of all the snow! Colter carried Saylor the most (but she still walked a lot) Tessa some and just picked Blakely and I up for a fun picture. I’ll post the others tomorrow. Stay tuned.
Went camping this weekend then took a hike to Mesa Falls! It was beautiful.

Many times we have to navigate through things. In life, with kids, most everything we are involved with.
Sometimes we have to cross bridges...even ones made out of a log. We can use our tools and get through them to get to the other side.
It is fun to hike with these girls. Saylor wanted to do it all by herself. She did it and felt very accomplished afterwards. (Thank goodness it was only a little stream.)
Went on a little overnighter. This girl 👧🏻 was made for it! She loved every minute. When you ask her, her favorite part was the fire 🔥.
Time for a game! Who’s is who’s pile? Colter? Paige? Blakely? Tessa? Saylor?
Girls wanted to go backpacking! So here we go!

What a crazy time throughout the world!
Please join me! I know that God knows ME and sincerely cares for my desires and needs. We are ALL children of God. He loves each one of us. Fasting helps me to grow personally and spiritually. Come closer to Christ and plead for his help at this time.
Today I will begin my fast after I eat Lunch. Say a prayer that those who are working on controlling the virus may find a solution, that the healthcare workers may be protected, and that the economy may bounce back.
I will not eat dinner tonight or breakfast tomorrow morning.
Before lunch I will break my fast with a prayer that God will accept my sacrifice and bless those accordingly.
In the Bible they sacrificed lambs and animals, Jesus Christ was the ultimate sacrifice and all we are asked to do to give up a few measly meals! Let’s do this! 🤛🏻
As is stated in the end: How do we fast? Two meals, or a period of 24 hours, is customary. But you decide what would constitute a sacrifice for you, as you remember the supreme sacrifice the Savior made for you. Let us unite in pleading for healing throughout the world.

We snowmobiled up to Granite Hot Springs today and had such a fun time with Colter’s family! The views never disappoint!
Saylor was crying when she had to walk up the cold stairs in her bare feet 🦶. Not because her feet were cold, because she didn’t want to leave. (I thought about crying because my feet were cold 🥶)
Happy New Year! These kids are crazy...yes, all four of them 😂! There must be something about snow and hot tubs that make this activity so much fun.

We were pretty tired of driving back to Idaho from Alaska so we decided to take a break.
We all rode the Hiawatha trail! This is a dirt bike path over an old railroad and in the beautiful Bitterroot Mountains. It is so fun. We went through tunnels and over high trestle bridges. Even 89 year old Grandma tried it out!
Next time we will be bringing our own bikes so the girls can ride on their doLittle seats! We were grateful for to rent bikes, headlights and helmets to us.

Beautiful drive this morning along the Alaskan Highway. A little bit of fog, saw a couple fox, porcupines, and rabbits. This world is a beautiful place!
Canadian rest stop. We got some wiggles out then we drove onward. I made a little ditty while driving today. Goes something like this: Driving with grandma, Not a care in the world. In a 31 foot RV, Trying not to hit any squirrels. Alaska is our destination, We started in Idaho. Already been over mountains and prairie, And we’re still on the go, go, go. 🤣
On the road again! Wow, half the battle of a road trip is getting on the road....and we are off to Alaska!! Who has driven the Alaskan highway and what is your favorite part of your adventure?
The girls loved The Mall of America! It is in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There is a full on Nickelodeon Amusement Park in the middle of the mall. Pretty fun, right? They even have rides for bigger kids and adults. What is your favorite part of an amusement park? Rides? Games? Food? Water?

Can’t go to Louisiana without eating Beignets! Or fancy, powdered sugar covered, scones! Yum! Colter took a break out from his work to join us for a quick snack! Have you had beignets? Would you make them at home if you had the opportunity?
We had a lot of fun at the Natural Bridge Caverns in San Antonio! The best thing is they have so much more than Caverns. They have a challenge course and zip lining! All three girls love climbing - just like their daddy! It's one of our favorite things to do as a family and it's been a blast finding all these new places and rocks to climb on! :) This is at the Gorham Mountain hike in Maine and let me tell ya, it was BEAUTIFUL!
But really... could you ask for a better workout team?? I hope these family workouts will continue even when we're not on the road anymore because I think we've all grown to like them quite a bit. 😊 There's nothing cuter than watching little kids try new exercises, am I right? 😄
We love museums, parks, and especially aquariums! The Seattle Aquarium was so much fun and full of hands-on things for the girls. Plus all of the sea creatures were so active which made it even more exciting for all of us.
Washington was full of birthday celebrations and a hospital visit for our sweet Saylor bug. Don't worry, we're all fine now. Here's a sneak peak - keep an eye out for the blog post going live tomorrow!
Welcome to our real life. A lot of people ask us if we collect certain souvenirs or items from each state, but to be honest we try to buy as little as possible because there is nowhere to store it! We buy souvenirs here and there but for the most part, we gotta keep it minimal. Now you can see why. :)

I often ask myself how I got so lucky to have these 4 humans in my life. Living in an RV and being up in each others' business 24/7 can drive all of us crazy at times, but then we have moments like this where I can't imagine life any other way. I'm so grateful we get this opportunity to travel the country and grow closer as a family. I think the girls like having Dad around all the time, and he doesn't seem to be complaining either. ;) Life is good. ❤️
This girl.. she keeps us on our toes, that's for sure! She is so sweet and loving, but has the ability to flip the switch and throw in some sass whenever she's feelin' it! Love, love, love her!
