!!! NEW DESTINATION IN 2026 !!!

Trekking the awe-inspiring Mount Roraima - one of the still untouched wonders in the world - in Venezuela has been, without a doubt, one of the hardest, most difficult experiences of my life. Mentally, physically and psychologically exhausting and challenging, but I would do it all over again a 1000 times.

How to describe this life-time experience?! I don’t know how to express myself, I will just say it was otherworldly. One of those things you have to do before you die. The place is simply magical and mystical, and the energy of the tepuis is breathtaking!

We already have our plans and tours ready for 2025, so let's focus on now on the year 2026, where we will head at least once to the Galápagos Islands. This time it will be a different journey, as we will not only visit the essential islands, but also some unique ones, among others the uninhabited Santiago. It is formed from two overlapping shield volcanoes, and is one of the most geologically interesting of the Galápagos Islands.

Santiago Island has a narrow, steep-sided point of land, which provides an extraordinarily beautiful landscape complete with cliffs and pinnacles where hundreds of marine birds rest. During the 17th and 18th centuries, pirates used this site for maintaining their ships, and supplying themselves with fresh water, meat, and firewood.

We will be in Ecuador in 2026, and look forward to explore the Galápagos Islands together with you!

Last year I visited the La Paz Waterfall Garden near the Poás crater for the very first time upon dozens of visits to Costa Rica. It is a popular privately owned ecological attraction that offers Waterfalls, Nature Trails and Wildlife Sanctuary. Have you ever been there? What was your impression about this eco-park? From stunning landscape views to snowcapped mountain peaks, these photos just might make you want to take a less beaten path and hike the Salkantay trail to Machu Picchu.

We did this trek this June, and it was spectacular! The views of Humantay lake, Salkantay pass were stunning. We can't wait to be back in Peru next year!!

It is no secret that in June 2025 we will undertake a very special exploration tour to Pakistan, where we will hike many paths in the mountainous valley of Hunza.

Besides the treks we will explore several historical sites in Pakistan, among others the Taxila World Heritage complex. Taxila is composed of over thirty sites of different nature i.e. prehistoric cave, settlement (40000 B.C.-3000 B.C.), three successive capital city sites of the ancient Taxila.

Next year we will be twice in Cusco and Peru, first in April, then again in late September. Both times we will visit the southern part of the South American country, where we will definitely spend some time in and around Cusco, the former capital of the extensive Inca Empire.

In 2025, we will return to the Argentine Northwest, where we will explore valleys, high plateaus, red rocks, and mountains. The terrain there changes frequently, you go from mountains to forests to volcanic gravel to straight desert. It is one of our favourite parts of Argentina, and we look forward to dig into this region with a new group.

What’s your favourite quetzal spotting place in Costa Rica? Ours is definitely the magical San Gerardo de Dota. In February 2025 we will visit the cloud forest village, where the forest is misty and mysterious and magnificent resplendent quetzals can be spotted in the avocado trees beside the river.
