My favorite shawl of all time. I personally don’t wear shawls as wraps, I only use them as scarves. I never used to want to make a shawl because I thought you had to wear them in the wrap fashion. Now that I use this one all of the time as a scarf, all I want to do is knit up more shawls. I have so many pattern ideas in my head, and no time to knit them. Hopefully soon 🤞🏻

Day 60: Commuting to the city entails knitting Christmas presents on the sidewalk while waiting for the bus. And also on the bus. And on the train. And walking to my class. And in class. Throughout the years I’ve gotten much knitting done during these times ☝🏻 Have you started making any Christmas presents yet? I’ve already made a few using my Blair Witch Hat Project pattern. The bulky hats just whip up so fast 🙌🏻

With the amount of school work I’ve had to do, I unfortunately haven’t had the time to woodburn another set of hooks or needles. The semester is almost over though, so I’m looking forward to when I can make more batches! For now, I still have a few straight needles left with these runaway yarn ball designs on them. PATTERN TESTER CALL!!! Everyone meet The Cobblestone Road Scarf. Ive been dying to design a quick, simple, chunky knit scarf that I can wear on my freezing commute to the city everyday. I’m opening up applications for test knitters to apply for this new pattern today! I will be releasing the instructions for both a Bulky Weight and Super-Bulky Weight version, so you can apply for either. Here’s the deets:
🍂 Must be finished & have detailed notes emailed to me by the end of the day on Wednesday, November 14th, 19th
❄️ Put up a Ravelry project within 1 week of the pattern release
🌲 Send me finished photos of your scarf
🍁Testers will be able to choose any pattern of their choice from my Shop as a thank you for test knitting once all requirements are completed!

➰ Send your application email to [email protected] with “Cobblestone Road Scarf Test Knit” as your subject line
➰ Send me your name and Instagram handle
➰ Answer these questions below:
1. How long have you been knitting?
2. What experience level are you as a knitter?
3. Have you knit an icord edging before?
4. Which weight do you want to test knit? Bulky (5) or Super-Bulky (6)?
5. Have you test knit before? If so, for who and what pattern?
6. Can you have your project and notes finished by the due date?
7. Will you put up a Ravelry project within 1 week of the pattern release?

Lately I’ve been knitting so many things with tiny needles and thin yarn. I really needed a project that would whip up super fast, so out came this new chunky scarf pattern 🤷🏻‍♀️ Linen stitch + i-cord edging 👌🏻 I’m probably going to have it finished today, so look out for a pattern tester call soon!
