MINIMUM WAGE IS GOING UP IN MEXICO
Minimum wage is going up in Mexico in 2025 (by 12%). This means that minimum wage for an 8 hour day (NOT per hour, per DAY) is 278.80MXN or approximately $13 USD.

Even a small tip goes a long way for resort staff. Try to make an extra effort, and remind clients of the same, to tip those who normally get forgotten at resorts like gardeners, cleaners in the lobby, airport washroom cleaners, etc. Housekeeping, waiters and bartenders work hard, but will likely see the most tips; don't forget about those making the least who don't get as much attention!
