The Price House was built in 1886 and had cedar shake roofing originally. Then somewhere along the way, asphalt shingles topped the roof, followed years later by hand crimped metal roof.
The layers of roofing that were no longer protecting the house were removed. A beautiful new mechanically seamed roof is now in place to protect the house for years to come.
And the house is now reopened for visitors to Edenton! Follow along for more reno pics and more ☀️
