Week 1 in Blanes, Spain 🇪🇸 is off to an amazing start! After meeting in NYC just a few days ago, our 10 players are competing well on the court, working hard in practice, and bonding outside of tennis as well.

So much more tennis to come, but our first four days have been incredible!

SwingVision is at the cutting edge of tennis innovation, and we are so excited to be using their technology to record our players' matches and receive detailed match stats and AI-generated highlights in Europe this summer!

SwingVision uses AI to edit out the time between points, so you can watch even a 3 hour match in ~25 minutes.

We'll also have a team account set up so friends and families back home can watch as our players compete on the red clay in Spain, Holland, and Switzerland!

Last week, Ben had the chance to hit with SwingVision's Head of Business Development Nikhil Jayashankar on a hot day in Central Park and test out some of the technology before heading over to Europe.

No AI was needed for Nikhil's silky drop volley to end the session!

We head to Europe in just 10 DAYS! ⏳

We could say the generic line about “It’s hard to believe it’s almost go time...”, but that wouldn’t be true.

We’ve been focused on this for the past 6+ months and have no trouble believing it!

It’s taken a lot of work to get to this point, and we really couldn’t be much happier with where we are in the final lead up to our departure next Saturday, June 29.

It’s going to be an amazing summer for Atlas Tennis and we can’t wait to help create unforgettable experiences for our players!

Atlas Tennis creates trips for junior players ages 13-18 to experience life like a pro—traveling around Europe to compete in tournaments against locals, training on red clay, and visiting some of the world's most beautiful destinations.

USTA Southern is partnering with Atlas Tennis to provide our players with a $500 discount off the "Sunshine & Smiles" trip! The trip leaves NYC and travels to tournaments in Spain, the Netherlands, and Switzerland from June 29-July 21, 2024.

The trip is open to a wide level of players, but at a minimum at least some prior competitive experience is required.

Excited to announce that we will be attending the ATP Swiss Open Gstaad in Switzerland🇨🇭this summer on our Sunshine & Smiles trip!

As part of our week in Switzerland, before our players begin their own tournament in Geneva, we’ll spend a day watching the pros at one of the most picturesque tournaments on the calendar in the Swiss Alps!

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alex de Minaur have already been confirmed, and we expect more stars to join them. If we’re lucky, maybe past champion Roger Federer will make an appearance! 🤞

COACH SPOTLIGHT 🎾

We are so excited to have Kinzee Salo joining us this summer as one of our coaches!

Kinzee currently serves as the assistant men’s tennis coach at 13th ranked Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota (also the alma mater of Atlas Tennis founding Partner Eric Butorac).

In addition to coaching at Gustavus, Kinzee serves as a faculty member at Minnesota State University. She also works seasonally at the US Open helping to manage staff in the Player Services Department, where she has worked with Atlas Tennis Director Ben for several years.

From Kinzee: “I’m excited to join Atlas Tennis as a coach this upcoming summer! Being able to help young people build connections, improve their tennis game, and grow as people throughout their time with us all while traveling the world is something that drew me to Atlas. It truly is an amazing opportunity to not only continue to grow the game of tennis but help young people become a better version of themselves. I’m looking forward to an amazing trip!”

It was fantastic to be alongside many of the top new, innovative brands in our sport and have the chance to meet players, coaches, parents, and volunteers that all play a vital role in the tennis ecosystem!

These types of days are extra special as it's also a chance to connect with so many friends from the tennis world. As I've mentioned in some of our recent newsletters (subscribe at link in bio!), I interned with USTA Eastern way back in high school and have kept in touch since, and I most recently worked full time at the USTA prior to Atlas.

It's always great to be back!
