Wandering Cards Write.Then.Post : Find the cards I left behind while travelling New Zealand, write a little something then send them off to me. Hi!

My name's Aélis (or Colorgraded on Instagram). I'm a French&Canadian gal who went travelling New Zealand for 3 months. On my way through both North and South Island, I left about 40 blank postcards for you to find and write so we can share a moment we might have never shared otherwise. Somehow we're all strangers, yet living the same things. I wanted to keep a memorable souvenir from my journey th

rough New Zealand. Something different, something real, through the eyes and feelings of those who experienced the same path than me, for a day or a month, visited the same places I did, or crossed my path without knowing it. I wanted to create a connection where there was none. Even for a short amount of time. It's amazing what we can share on a so small piece of paper. Anonymous yet so genuinely authentic. I guess this is the true meaning of travels.

I just got back home after 5 months travelling and what do I find in my mailbox ? No less than 20 postcards from you guys. WOW. And the 21st just got here this week.

That's amazing. Truly amazing. I never thought so much of them would have been found.

Thank you so much for playing along and for all the sharing you put on the card. I was overwhelmed to read so much from so many places.
I'm glad you enjoyed New Zealand at least as much as I did. For those who gave me you mail address, I'm going to take the time to answer you in a few days.

I'm looking forward to see if I'll get to find some other cards in my mailbox in the next weekes/months :)

This one's special though, it's the #000, because I never got to thank the friend who came up with the perfect name for my idea of leaving postcards behind me. I had so much fun hiding cards everywhere and it's been such an unbelievable journey, so I think that, as a big thanks, she deserves to get the last one. , this one's for you ;) Thanks everyone.
